I loved this little kit. I have never made cake pops before. It was fun and super easy. I only destroyed 9 out of 48 cake pops. So there was a little learning curve but once I caught on it was a breeze. My cake pops turned out adorable. I stuck to just the simple round cake pop decorated with sprinkles. The kit came with the plastic bags, sticks, ribbons, tags, a holder, and a book. The cake pop holder was the best part; it holds 12 at a time and was perfect for holding the cake pop while the candy coating dried. I definitely recommend this kit.

I'm pretty neutral on this. I had read other reviews before I purchased this & was well aware that it was simply "just" a recipe book, not truley a kit. I KNEW better to have everything in the house ahead of time, but what this book doesn't go into, is to make these cake pops with the mold ?? These are only very standard cake pops. I wish there would have been something better stated in the description saying what the "main" mixture always is, throughout the book. That the "base" cake pop is always the same , to start with .

I like baking and decided to give cake pops a go. This kit is excellent because it gives you all the basics you need to get started. It also lists the ingredients required and the easiest way to get the best results. The cake pops suggested go from easy to difficult so you can work your way up from basic to fancier designs. I hope to get better cake pops with time but even my first attempt at the owls was passable!

This is a great book to give you some ideas, but I find it is too American, and you will have to improvise with some of the decoration by finding UK equivalents. The gift extras are great though - you can wrap each pop individually which is a lovely touch, and the pop holder is a must while waiting for your pops to set.
