Britt Whyatt, also known as She Who Bakes, lives in Kent and is a multi-award-winning blogger, baker, content creation consultant, public speaker and mental health advocate. In 2010 after recovering from surgery and suffering badly from depression and anxiety after a string of family tragedies, Britt was tasked to bake a cake for a charity bake sale. Having never baked before she armed herself with a packet mix and a bowl and hoped for the best. Using her blogging background, she created a baking blog called She Who Bakes which became a very successful baking business from home. Baking hundreds of cakes over the years for special occasions, Britt knows what it takes to make a home cake business flourish. I just finished reading britts book and in all honesty it was insightful and a pleasure to read. I started at 9:10am and just finished it now at 15:33. In the last pages she mentions how the book may seem to put people off and scare but it’s very much the contrary, she gives good, honest and crucial advice that everyone thinking of business should 110% take on board. It’s such a beautifully written book with lots of Britt personality and qwerk which made it an easy, comprehensive read. I’ll be reading it again from tomorrow but with a notepad and pen.

Absolutely amazing book that has genuinely made me want to go into business. I was still doubtful and apprehensive but honestly after reading this book everything has just been simplified I feel like my hands been held and motivation drummed into me.

Thank you Britt, what a truly life changing read.
