I took this to range and placed it 200 yards out with my Browning A-Bolt .270 - first shot - plink! Thing spun and swung for a bit into original position. Placed about 60 rounds with 130 grain into the AR500 steel and it performed beautifully. I didn't even need the stakes because the ground was soft. It fell down once, but that was my fault. I recommend this product looking for a steel target package but doesn't feel like shelling out a bunch of bucks for a package or too lazy to put one together. This product has it all. Very eager to try it again soon! Nice job Caldwell.
Cons: the stand could be sturdier. It bends and flexes quite a bit, so the ground stakes are pretty mandatory. I DO like that you can easily replace the stand legs with rebar when they eventually get eaten up from splatter.
