"Riley Raines is coming home and I know without a single doubt that she's going to ruin me."

Cale Kinley has loved Riley Raines ever since he can remember. Even though she left town six years before, Cale has made a vow to remain a virgin so that Riley can be his first. Very sweet, right? Except that Cale is one of the hottest exotic dancers at the hot Chicago nightclub Walk of Shame, an environment not exactly known for purity. But now Riley's back, and things are heating up...

Victoria Ashley can write a darned hot book, and CALE is no exception. Über-hot guy that whips you into a frenzy? Check. Girl that said guy will do anything for? Check. Plenty of super-sexy scenes guaranteed to make your e-reader or paperback burst into flame? Check. And, I have to admit, the premise of the book hooked me before I ever opened it. I mean, really, what are the odds that this super-smoking man, constantly prancing around in next to nothing in front of tons of adoring women, is going to keep his V-card? But keep it, he has, and he can't wait to show Riley how much she means to him.

As with the couples in the rest of the Walk of Shame series, the sexy times are off-the-charts sizzling, and Cale and Riley really do seem to have a pretty deep connection. The only thing that seemed a little forced, the proverbial fly in the ointment, is Riley's ex. She'd been done with him for a hot minute after a two-year relationship, and seems to have very little trouble jumping right into things with Cale. But, true love can't be denied, so I can live with it.

All in all, CALE was just what I expected, which is a short and steamy read, with characters that we've come to know and love, so I'm giving it 3.5 'smoking, sizzling, happily ever after' stars.

It took me awhile to come up with a review for this book because how do you write about something that completely captured your heart? There really aren't strong enough words to be able to describe how unbelievably special this book is.There was always something captivating about Cale from the other two Walk of Shame books. From the moment I opened this book I was instantly in love and totally enthralled by Cale. He quickly became one of my absolute favorite book boyfriends ever! Who knew that a hot, sexy stripper could be so sweet and caring! How he could of had any woman that he wanted but he never did because his heart was always with Riley showed you what a amazing man he really is. No one could ever hold a candle to his Riley. When Cale loves he loves with all his heart and doesn't hold back. The two of them had a undeniable spark and chemistry from the start and it only intensified as the story progressed. I absolutely adored this couple! They are a perfect pair and compliment each other. You will get so attached to Cale because he leaves you hopeful that by following your heart you will ultimately get your greatest reward.... True Love. Isn't that what we all hope for in life? I cried in this book as several parts pulled at my heart strings. I loved the banter with Cale and the other Walk of Shame boys. They had me cracking up laughing and it just showed what a incredible bond they have together. I'm sad to see this series come to a end but Victoria really knocked it out if the park. There really was no better way to close out the series but I will forever remain hopeful that this may be goodbye but not forever as I would love to hear about the other boy's stories especially Stone! Thank You Victoria for giving us Cale as he will forever live in my heart!

Let me start by saying I am not trying to be rude in this review, and their may be a few spoilers-not major ones-but they are necessary to get my point across. I usually write spoiler free reviews, but this book really let me down; and it did not live up to the hype it was given.

First, I enjoyed the other two books in this series. This book was pretty much just like them. This is my first issue-originality. This book was basically the same as the first two just insert new character names. Granted I know Cale is a stripper too, and they all worked at the same joint; but I feel as though none of them really showed separate personality. I really thought I would see that with Cale, and I didn't.

Second, this book was basically built around Cale's virginity, so I expected one fantastic first sex scene ( I really expected it even more after finding out Riley was still virgin too). The book was a complete fail in this aspect, which truly surprised me from this author. I was kind of lost at this point. I expected high emotions, and hot descriptive sex. It was no different than anything else.

Third and finally, this book also had no epilogue either. I know they are short Novella's but it was supposedly the end of the series. It would have been nice to hear a little something about all the guys and their HEA. Kids ?, Marriage ?, New Jobs ?.

I know this review sounds rude and ruff, but when I pay 2.99 for a Novella and it is basically the same as the first two; I tend to be let down.

The book started with a peek into the teen past of the main characters and their final farewell, which would last several years. I could feel the pain of each, thinking they may lose their best friend. Miles apart, they stayed in touch for a few years, but the phone calls trickled down...and Cale felt forgotten. Through all of this, he was saving his virginity, hoping one day she'd return and he could give that to her.

"Her" being Riley, Cale's best friend going back ten years. The two have been secretly yearning for each other, even as teens, but held back, afraid of losing their friendship if they even tried the next level. In the meantime, she returned and was surprised to find Cale on her massage table at work. Then the real story began, and I certainly would't spoil that for you. Just know, the sex in this book was SUPER FIVE-FLAMES HOT. :)

One of my favorite parts of this book was when several of the guys from the Walk of Shame were together somewhere, eating and drinking, having a great time being friends, and talking guy stuff. That all made me smile. Those boys had become family to each other. (For you grammar-minded folks, I'm going to slide into present tense ON PURPOSE.) :P I'm hoping with all my heart that Victoria Ashley has at least one more story for us based on the new boys at the Walk of Shame. I wouldn't mind seeing the "evil bossman" take a few more hits...to his pocketbook and his FACE. Heh heh...

I can't wait to see what Victoria Ashley has next in store for us. I know of at least two things in the works. One is from the Pain series, and the other has something to do with a guitar and a VERY HOT man who, I assume, plays that guitar, maybe perhaps stark naked. Swoon!!
