I don't know if the formula has changed since other reviewers posted their comments, or if my daughter's skin is just THAT sensitive....

After my daughter has had many problems with severe diaper rash, I wanted to give this a try. NOTHING was clearing up her rash until we found MotherLove's diaper rash cream (which I highly recommend), but I found this Califoronia Baby Diaper Area Wash spray and thought, perfect, so easy for when things aren't too serious. And oh my gosh, it smells SOOOO good!

The problem is that within a day my daughter was screaming when I'd put it on her and actively resisting diaper changes (unusual for her). I thought maybe it just felt cold going on (getting to winter around here) and she didn't like that, but decided to go ahead and try it out on myself. And without going into details, I am absolutely shocked this product gets such great reviews! I don't have sensitive skin, and my eyes were watering, the stinging was so intense (though I kept this review at 2 stars instead of 1 because once the initial sting passed, it still smells and feels nice).

I also tried it on a cut on my arm (marked also for "boo-boos" and it hurt like the dickens there, too).

So, I don't know. I'm just really stunned this has gotten 5 stars from so many people!

This spray is amazing. When we chose to cloth diaper, we also decided to use cloth baby wipes, so we wouldn't have to deal with disposable wipes getting shredded in the wash after we accidentally left them in diapers (Yes, it happens). Reusable wipes meant I needed to find a good solution that was cloth friendly, and sensitive skin friendly. I break out from anything even remotely harsh or artificial on my skin (artificial dyes, scents, etc), and my daughter is the same. We originally tried just plain water, but the metals in our tap water also set out some reaction.

Then I found this diaper spray, and it's been a dream to use since. We've rarely seen any sort of rash, and if we do, we spray undiluted wash on her bum and it's cleared up in just a few hours. For everyday use, I use a 50/50 blend, 50% wash, 50% water. To do this easily, I just keep the last two bottles we had, and take about 3/4 of the solution from the new bottle, split 50/50 in the other two, and then fill them with water. The new bottle I now have a small amount of undiluted solution in case of rash.

We use cloth diapers, so cloth wipes just naturally make sense too. Instead of leaving our wipes soaking in a solution that might cause mildew or get stale, I just spray a few squirts of California Baby diaper spray directly on my little one, then wipe clean with a cloth wipe. This handy spray is great for the diaper bag too, thanks to the lid being able to screw closed. To stretch the bottle further, I dilute half with purified water. This turns one bottle into 2, furthering our savings. I have been using it exclusively for about 9 months, with perfect results, and have only used 2 bottles so far. By not using throw away diapers or wipes, we save a ton!

Lets face it, nobody enjoys changing a poopy diaper, especially the tacky, tarry poops that stick to the skin, or the poop that you didnt know was there that is now caked all over baby's giblets. Diaper Wash to the rescue! If this stuff would have been on an infomercial with buy now and and get an 2 extra bottles I would have never believed it, I would have never bought it but my wife found this stuff and I have to say it really works like magic. Not only does it help clean off baby's dirty parts but it also smells good too. Its like Poo-pouri for baby.

We've used this since our 3 year old was born and for 2 children. I cannot imagine how much money we have saved in using this with cloth wipes over disposable wipes. Gentle on skin and smells nice. Also works on itchy skin and insert stings. I wish it was cheaper, but you can also dilute it and it still works well.

I use this for EVERYTHING - cradle cap, rashes, cuts, insect bites - as well as the traditional diapering use. It's cloth diaper safe, smells good, and easy to grab and use. It's my go-to gift for new moms as well.

It's the only diaper spray/bottom cleaner I use! Love the mild but yummy scent, my baby never gets rashes or irritation, gentle and effective! It is expensive but you can dilute it and it works just as well!

I have been using this product since my son's first and only diaper rash. I have read a lot of people saying that the spray still burns, but it was not the case for my son. I sprayed it directly on the area and he handled it as well as any baby with a diaper rash could. The diaper rash quickly went away and as I continue using this spray, he hasn't had a rash since.

I do like the fact that I can dilute this product. I do the recommended 1 tsp of diaper area wash and 3 tbs of water and soak it with a cloth wipe. It's been working out great so far! Removes poop from his bottom just fine and cleans the area well.
