The big difference, and why this one wins out over the others is the smoothness of application. The others are rather 'stiff', and require a fair bit of working in to get good coverage and no white spots. I always end up coming home with a spot or two that got missed (elbows, back of the arm, etc) and are bright pink. Not to mention the white stains on my shirts. With this sunscreen, it goes on smoothly, lasts the 3-5 hours between applications (may last longer, but I don't even try), and I don't have sensitive pink spots in out of the way places.
I use it on my 2yo and my own very fair skin. I always hate seeing the price tag on this and it may seem like you do not get a lot for the price, but a little goes a long way! It goes on very thick and it is very easy to see if you missed a spot.
Also, since the ingredients are great safe I don't have to worry about my little ones sticking their hands in their mouth.
Hands down, I will never buy another type of sunscreen.

Great sunscreen but overpowering scent. California Baby has been the only sunscreen that my teenage boy can use without getting a rash. Read morePublished 4 days ago by olybooklover

This sunscreen is fantastic. Put a little in your hand, rub around and then apply to child. A little goes a long way. It stays on a long time and you won't be burned.Published 2 months ago by Kacey Coyne
