This is a holistic approach to calisthenics, and includes theory, psychology, and motivational aspects. It treats exercise integrated into other aspects of your life, especially diet. The chapter on smoothies is great. Besides the wonderful recipes, there are suggestions for how to make your own designer smoothie and fix your smoothie if it’s not so good.
The author reminded me that I have to vary my routine to preserve motivation. Although many of the exercises are advanced, others are suitable for beginners. Some of the suggested exercises require parallel bars, rings, and other gym equipment. The exercises are not illustrated, so I looked up videos on the web. I liked the myth-busting section at the end of the book.
