Its alright but really more of the same. The only reason why it feels refreshing is because COD Ghosts was such a failure and a step in the wrong direction, this game brings back the smooth movement and polish of previous CODs before Ghosts. The extra stuff like jumping and jetpacks are a fun addition. Campaign is kind of boring but who buys COD for the campaign anymore? I'll give this game an 8 for the multiplayer, but when are they gonna find a way to weed out the annoying kids and put them in their own online section. Maybe Activision needs to team up with IDVerify for this to happen, make sure that there's a section for only folks over 18.

I actually bought this as a Xmas gift for my hubby. Well he got it a couple nights ago instead. He played it a couple he's then handed the controller to me once he got stuck. It's pretty fun. We generally play games together but I'm not a Call of Duty kind of player which may have just changed. I kinda like the just kill everything in your path. Although I like the looking around collecting items type of games along with shot every one along the way. So it's a cool game to me. He loves them. I think he's played everyone except this and any newer ones.
Wee not very far into the game but it's fun. I like the fact they used a,well known actor in the game too. They did that with Until Dawn also. It's a nice touch.plus the graphics are great. Ps4 has the best graphics ever and as long as these fame maker companies keep up I'm liking it. This one looks real as can be.
Fun game, shoot everything in site so far.
I'll update later as we get further in.

I'm not finished with the game yet but a review should be based on the amount of satisfaction one receives from a product right? After being immensely let down by Destiny and enjoying a game like Titanfall (PC) it's nice to see that after last year's Ghosts that the franchise is (what appears to be) coming back on track. The story has me hooked like the original Modern Warfare. Hell even Ghosts had a good campaign and it's sad most people only play this for the multiplayer It's nice to see the developer Sledgehammer actually put in some effort on this installment to make the gameplay seem fresh. I dabbled a bit in the multiplayer and I am definitely not a guru at it, the maps are interesting and the loadouts are fantastic and the Titanfall-esque (Though this game has been in development long before Titanfall had been announced) gameplay is enough to keep you playing for hours. The epic cinematic moments are back in the campaign and it's the release that next gen has been waiting for. The graphics are something out of this world...So much detail in the environments and particle effects The cutscenes look fantastic and Kevin Spacey does an amazing job on voice and mo-cap Troy Baker as always has an amazing voice performance, very emotional. On PS4 it runs at 1080p and a smooth as silk 60FPS with occasional dips during the campaign but the multiplayer is constant at 60FPS. One thing I almost forgot to mention, the sound design is FLAWLESS! It's very immersive through a home theater or a good set of headphones.

It looks and feels like Black Ops 2 except with a double jump and dash.

Guns are about the same.

Kill streaks and perks are about the same.

The different things I noticed was.....

You will die more from behind, above and to the side. (because of the double jump)
The maps are small and have two or three stories(aka roofs) that you can jump up above the ground level to kill people.
The gameplay is faster and less teamwork heavy (because of the map designs and double jump.)
Autoaim is stronger than previous CODs.
Rifles dominate the map.
Graphics are nothing special.
Lag is about the same as Black Ops 2

You will like this Game IF
you liked Black Ops 2 and your not a camper.
you like fast paced arcade shooting games.
your first COD was Black Ops 2 or Ghosts.

You will Not like this Game IF
you hated BO2, MW3 and Ghosts.
you like to camp and slowly clear rooms.
you want this to be a realistic war simulation.
you plan on playing competitively or in a team using tactics.

I personally liked Advanced Warfare for what it was, and it was a very good attempt on Sledgehammer Games' part. The exo movement in Advanced Warfare truly does offer a break from the linear play style that is traditional with most call of duty games. Having the opportunity to boost strafe to the left or the right and boost either forward or backwards while on the ground, or in the air, is a really nice mechanic that I thoroughly enjoyed in Advanced Warfare. Advanced Warfare's campaign was also pretty good, with an ending that implied that there is a more serious threat at hand than what was originally presented. Unfortunately though, unless you play call of duty games solely for the campaigns, I cannot recommend Advanced Warfare in the slightest. The multiplayer setting for this game is barely active due to the drastic drop in the player count and when you can actually find people to play with online, only TDM (Team Death Match) can be played reliably.
