Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Game Overview
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare delivers something for every Call of Duty fan with three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Delivering a rich and engaging narrative in a setting unlike anything to date in a Call of Duty game, the campaign is a return to the franchise’s gritty, military roots throughout new environments never before seen in the franchise.
The player will embark on a classic war story about grand scale warfare; all set in a grounded future where human conflict has spread throughout our solar system. Multiplayer brings ground-breaking gameplay innovations to deliver the deepest and most engaging Call of Duty experience to date. The title introduces stunning, never before seen, multi-planetary environments, new weaponry, and all-new player abilities to Call of Duty. In addition, the new cooperative zombies experience will thrill players with an original direction featuring fun and unique gameplay, all wrapped into an entertaining narrative sure to excite fans.
Return to Classic, Large-Scale War
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will take players on an unforgettable journey as they engage in battles from Earth to beyond our atmosphere against a relentless, enemy faction that threatens our very way of life. It’s grand scale war and hallmark boots-on-the-ground Call of Duty action with memorable characters, rich emotional arcs, and stunning new environments, all within an epic new setting.
A Call of Duty Campaign to Remember
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare puts storytelling front and center, in a deeply engaging narrative. It features jaw-dropping set-pieces and blockbuster cinematic moments, while also delivering a gripping portrayal of war that harkens back to the roots of the franchise. Infinity Ward also breaks new ground by thrusting the player into wartime leadership as Captain Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot, who takes the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth’s last remaining warships. In a time of unthinkable hardships, Reyes must lead the remnants of coalition forces against a relentless foe in a war that spans our solar system.
Fighting a Fanatical Enemy
The Settlement Defense Front (SetDef) represents a splinter group of insurgents that broke away from the United Nations Space Alliance during a war of secession, years ago. In the world of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, our planet has been stripped of its natural assets through population growth and industrial expansion. The people of Earth now rely upon colonies throughout the solar system to mine planets and asteroids for necessary fuel and other resources. The SetDef is a fascist power, comprised of brutal and militant radicals, toughened by the extreme conditions of offworld environments. They seek to control those outposts and their wealth, putting a stranglehold on the countries of Earth. After years of uneasy stalemate, diplomatic relations are strained, and it will take only the slightest nudge to lead to full-scale war.
Gear Up For Intense Multiplayer
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will feature an evolution of Call of Duty’s movement system with an emphasis on front-line engagement. Maps are designed to further leverage the movement system and immerse players into fast, fun, and frenetic gameplay that players have come to expect from Call of Duty. With its new approach to play, multiplayer will bring innovative gameplay that challenges players to achieve their goals in creative ways based on their specific play style.
Battle the Living Dead in a Zombies Thriller
Infinite Warfare Zombies brings a totally fun, wickedly fresh take to Call of Duty Zombies. Zombies in Spaceland will transport players back in time to a 1980's amusement park complete with a plethora of rides, an awesome arcade, and a funky, functioning rollercoaster. Embrace previously beloved aspects of the mode like tons of easter eggs, power ups, perks, and radical weapons while experiencing innovations like brand-new team mechanics, the After Life Arcade, and Fate and Fortune Cards. And, of course, a killer good 80s soundtrack.
-Spaceland takes players on a roaring trip back into the 1980's with a nighttime setting sure to spook the faint of heart.
-The park features unique areas at every twist and turn with settings ranging from an alien village to a trip back in time showcasing the glory of early space travel.
-With a plethora of retrofitted rides and games the park has been outfitted with death traps to help players survive the next zombie onslaught.
-Players have the ability to uncover the mystery behind the park and its inhabitants by completing the many Easter Eggs hidden within its walls.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - PS4 Legacy Edition
Top Customer Reviews
COD slowly lost the plot through previous years. They've kept all the weird changes and updates from old editions, just layering them on top of each other. This is so far from the fundamentals that made it great that I would not have been able to recognize it as a COD title but for "CALL OF DUTY" being slapped on the cover.
You can make your own class, but then you have mech armor/suits layered on top of that. There are some strange choices in the tactical grenade menu. They've kept that weapon/item that charges throughout the round. Then my personal pet peeve, the jumping/jet pack and wall running, is still in the game. They have now completed the transition from a solid, fundamental FPS to the dudebro, Dorito and Mountain Dew choice of 12 year olds everywhere. This is ADHD in video game form.
The only redeeming quality about this game is the Legacy Edition came with one of the best COD titles and multiplayer ability. Even then, Activision won't let me sell off the IW disc if I still want to play MW. I guess I will have to come to terms with the fact that I paid $70.00 for a remastered Modern Warfare and got a cheap Halo knockoff included. The remastered Modern Warfare is the only reason why I can give this a star (and the fact that Amazon does not allow a zero star review).
As the title suggests this game is ridiculously unbalanced. The four key elements in multiplayer are the weapons, perks, scorestreaks, and payloads and they are all unbalanced. Have gotten black sky camo which requires you completing all camos for all weapons and spending a good 7-8+ hours with each weapon there is a trend. Every gun is either really good or really terrible, there is no middle ground. Particularly the NV4 and K-BAR assault rifles will cause you to hate this game. They are ridiculously over powered and infinity ward gives no effort to fix them. Meanwhile other terrible weapons like the OSA and Widowmaker and so bad, the latter actually being broken as far as the game mechanics go are left untouched and suffering at the mercy of the OP weapons. These are just a few examples but the list goes on.
2nd is the perks. Blast shield makes you practily invincible to explosives yet marksman which reduces snipers flinch has a barely noticeable difference. Plus you have to use hardline perk just to get the normal amount of xp that every other cod ever offered.
3rd is scorestreaks. The scrab is a supercharged RC-XD that now acts as a concussion grade when destroyed even from a distance. Plus your have more luck getting a kill with a thrown tamahawk across the map than you will with scorchers which are the standard air strike. Many more suck as well
4th is payloads. These are rigs and are just a cheap knockoff of BO3 specialists but overpowered. With bullet proof armor to 1 hit kill guns to literally warping to a different demension, these are simply too ludicrous to describe in detail. BO3 did it right but IW just blew it way out of proportion
2) No leaderboards, combat record, mute all option
So they finally released leaderboards and a combat record months after release but the leaderboards are broken and like everything else they won't fix them. Combat record also doesn't work as the stats are not correct on them. And no mute all option? C'mon how hard would that have been to add?
3) Hardcore mode
Now I am a long time fan of hardcore mode in COD but it is simply unbearable in this game. Taken my examples for number 1, you can expect overpowered weapons and people sitting and camping. One variant of a weapon allows you to have infinite damage range despite having a suppressor so every match with people using a gun that is a full auto assault rife, 1 shot kill, infinite damage range allowing them to use a suppressor with no negative effects and they will just sit in the back of the map and snipe you all day and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.
4) Lack of care
Over the corse of this game overall what gets to me the most is infinity wards complete lack of care towards the game. Oh how the mighty have fallen. A company that delivered the best cod ever has now delivered the worst. These reasons that I cited above show just how little infinity ward cares about marking a quality game anymore. They downright refuse to fix critical problems with this game and instead add more taunts and emblems to the quartermaster. I feel like they simply ignore cod fans as this is a game that no one asked for, let alone its just a cheap, knock off of black ops 3 but fails in literally every category you can compare it too. It's very clear to me that that infinity ward doesn't care about making quality games anymore and is simply driven to make the most profit. Very sad indeed
Oh but Modern Warefare Remastered is great! :)
