Just me, but this would be my gripe abut the story. I wish there was more of the backstory on the world and its inhabitants. I liked the characters and what I read of the world. However, I would have loved to read more in-depth about character's backgrounds and how they got there. The story felt too brief to me, and like I was dropped into the middle of the action and had to catch up.
That said, I enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters. I liked that the owner of the business wasn't an arrogant, billionaire jerk. He cared about the welfare of his employees and looked out for them. Even better was that the other character Kit, enjoyed his work and wasn't angsty about what he did. There was no, I'm doing this to pay the bills but I really want to be this ( insert profession ) instead.
The happily-ever-after ending didn't require a compromise that either character would have to give up what they enjoyed doing or were good at.
The story had a sprinkling of f-bombs, but it seemed natural coming out of the character's mouths and in the context of the world. The sex was hot and I enjoyed reading it because the characters seemed to enjoy it. I never felt that the sex descriptions seemed forced or boring.
A fun time to be had by all.
