Nice golf ball

Having a higher swing speed, I like the Callaway Warbird for distance on par 4 and 5s (plus, it is a less expensive than the Super Soft). That being said, the Super Soft is awesome on shots to the green. Very good hold on the green. These balls have a great feel off the club face, and are awesome for short irons, pitching and chipping. I like them on par 3s, and occasionally will use them the entire round. A note of warning: The covers are thin, and they will scuff if hit on hard surface (ie, cart paths...). Still one of my favorite balls. I have hit Titeleist PROvs for years and their price just makes my nose bleed. I've had enough! Long and short of this review, TRY THIS BALL!

My son has been using this ball for the past year and really likes the softness and the matt finish. He’s only used it in red. I ordered him a box of white for his league this summer and the white ball is not all that different than a normal ball. It has a bit of softness, but nothing compared to the red ball. I can’t speak for the other colors. The red ball has no shine and a real sticky feel. The white ball does not. I even gave one to my wife to make sure I wasn’t crazy and she said “that’s not the Supersoft ball, that something different”. I thought so too.

I practice on a small 9 hole course that is lined with trees and OB. I kept loosing my white balls and decided to try these bright orange balls to see if my lost ball issues would improve. These fly really well, are soft to the touch, and I have not lost a ball since I started playing with these. I doubt that I would use these when playing with other players but for playing by myself, they work great, feel great, and fly great.

Great feel off the club, straight and consistent flight

I’m a relatively new, average golfer at best, with my biggest issue being consistency. I played a round with these balls and had good to great tee shots all day. Irons and short game were solid as well. I realize the ball only does as well as you hit it, but I’ve been playing lower price balls (avg $1/ball, these are $1.75) and I do feel a difference in the way these come off the club. If you’re in that “in-between” level like I am, I think these are worth a few extra bucks. I did find the orange color useful on balls that veered into the rough. Played 18 and only lost 2 balls all day (both to the water).

Nice response on the greens, Ive also noticed a more striaght drive, Compared to my usual slice with a driver. I was actually told by my golf trainer to use a softer ball, because of my swing speed and i havent been disappointed.

Over the last few years I've played with colored balls just for the sake of ease. For the most part, you don't have to worry about getting your ball mixed up with other players. I was play the Srixon Z star ball and they work great. I now believe I prefer these over the Srixon. I like the matte finish and the green colored ball is even more bright than the yellow Srixon to me. I think they have comparable bite with approach shots to the green and I don't seem to lose distance of the tee with these. I think these are going to be my go to ball for a while.

As Easy to Lose as Any Ball

If I hit these right - great! But on those, oh I don't know, 3-5 times per round I am like, ya that thud was my ball pinging that dude's house. Honestly, it's his fault. I can picture the convo with the misses. "Seriously honey it will be great. We will look out back and it will seem like we have this HUGE backyard." Of course, he fails to inform her of the regular, constant clunks against the house or the balls in the pool. He, however, doesn't mind. Hasn't bought a sleeve of balls since he moved in. Went off track a bit there - like my drives! Ok, I'm back. I love Callaways. But, when they decide to go right - they go RIGHT. Have had a few quite expensive outings pinging these bad boys off people's fairway-side casas. Again, their fault - not mine - I didn't move there. Buy these. They make the most satisfying thud against stucco when mis-hit.
