I have been looking for dark chocolate chips for ages and found these on Amazon. Having read the positive reviews I decided to order these and I am so glad I did as they taste wonderful. The chips are shiny and very dark and the taste is really rich without being bitter. I look forward to baking my first brownies with these as I have had to use milk chocolate chips recently as couldn’t get any dark ones in our local shops. They were just too sweet, yuk. I would highly recommend these dark ones from Callebaut, based in the texture and taste alone.

Not fit for my requirements

I received 2 bags of these chocolate 'drops' today, delivered on time. BUT .... one bag was ok and the other had more consolidated big lumps than drops. As I needed these for chocolate chip cookies one bag was not fit for purpose. It depends on what you want these 'drops' for. The taste was fine but be warned you might receive big bulky chunks of solid chocolate. I only ordered these as my usual Kirkland chocolate drops are unavailable. I was prepared for some to be stuck together but not like this! My husband tried to patiently divide them up but these were well and truly stuck together! As I said it depends on what you want them for.

The so-called dark chocolate buttons arrived all melted together! But as we needed to have the birthday cake ready for early the following day, we had no chooice but to change the design, using the white chocolate buttons and just writing "Happy Birthday" with the dark chocolate. What a shambles!

First time using Callebaut, I bought this to use for loaf cake with a ganache topping and the quality lived up to the price. Very nice to work with, the taste was fantastic. I look forward to trying the milk and white versions for other recipes in future.

These taste great and are really nice when used in cakes/brownies/hot chocolate etc. The only thing I woul dsay is that the packaging should be made resealable with a ziplock or something.
