This book is great for anyone what suffers from anxiety, adults and children alike. The illustrations are beautiful and the words have a depth of understanding that isn’t found often when looking for help in the world of anxiety. We will keep revisiting areas of this book when we need help but for now, thank you to the author, this book is everything we need and more.

Although Calm, Happy Kids is targeted at three to seven year olds, the techniques could be adapted and used by absolutely anyone, as many are based on tried and tested methods. The genius here is that they are written in such a lovely, child-friendly way, it makes them accessible for the very young too. My own daughters are little bit older but love the colour scheme, images and the activities they have tried so far. It truly is a wonderful mindfulness book for parents and other grown ups to share with their little people so they can ALL benefit from the methods while enjoying bonding time together. As an added bonus, there are links to 167 fun activities to do with your kids plus web site references to lots of other fabulous resources for mindfulness, meditation and wellbeing. Final words to one of my daughters who said: "This is brilliant for kids - and I should know because I am a kid!!"
