This book is written for people looking for a natural approach to reduce stress and anxiety. While this 5-week program has been specifically designed for people suffering from anxiety, it is also great for people who get stressed easily or like me, live a demanding life. I have 4 kids and a stressful full time job so I found this extremely useful and easy to adopt into a normal day. The tools are excellent such as Practical action plans, it is filled with Great recipes - I personally liked the warm lentil quinoa and spinach salad. Ultimately, I am giving this 5+ stars as it is rare to have a single destination for food, diet, breathing techniques, yoga, action plans plus much more.
The fact is its a great tool/resource that I think makes a good companion for life. I Know I'll be going back to this book over and over again - especially for the meal and recipe suggestions.
Mental Illness effects one in four people - that's a lot of suffering. It's also a lot of misunderstanding from those who don't suffer in the same way.
Medications for mental illness is big business. Medications MAY also have adverse side effects that can cause extra problems.
This book is based on the natural. Therefore by following the advice therein, the patient will discover a safer and cost effective alternative that will work exceedingly well, if followed religiously.
All the work has already been done for the sufferer within these pages. I applauded the author for covering every aspect, from food to essential minerals, water and calming meditation and exercise. NONE OF IT IS HARD WORK! Just a dedication to be well.
