I've had these for a while. They're not very good, which is surprising because I usually like this company's products. The shapes don't work well. They are made of a slightly soft, rubbery material that has a slight texture to it making them very difficult to clean.

Edit: after using these even longer I came back to remove the last star I could. They're awful. Impossible to clean and the shapes make them nearly useless. Time to buy something else.

Rubber utensils for your non-stick cookware

Don't scratch your non-stick cookware! Use these utensils instead of metal to avoid scratching your non-stick cookware.

I have a Calphalon non-stick cookware set. Even using wooden utensils caused scratches. I ordered these to avoid further damage and it was a good decision. The rubber is soft enough to avoid damaging the coating on the pots and the pans.

This set contains five useful cookware utensils. It will be enough for the needs of most people. The pasta fork is very handy. I am not impressed by the design of the turner but it works well enough. I do not like the serrated edges and it is really not very good at cutting. It is also a little bit thick. But like I said, it works well enough.

The quality of the material is fine and the price is fair. I feel like the utensils will last a long time. Just be aware that they are made of rubber. Do not leave them touching the metal parts of a hot cookware. They will get damaged by the heat if you leave them touching the edge of a pot while the heat is on. Take good care of them and they will last a long time. You can put them in the dishwasher and they will be fine. Top rack is the best location.

Highly recommended.

I have times where I cook a ton and not at all. My boyfriend is a professional cook and I wanted something that made me not look like an idiot to have in my kitchen. These are incredible. I always get so nervous that the products I use cannot hold up to the heat I prefer but these have done so well. For the last few weeks I've used them quite a bit and still have no complaints at all. They're also very very easy to wash which is a huge plus since I don't have a dishwasher. They're very light which makes them easily maneuverable but still feel very strong so I don't have any reserves about using it for some heavier/trickier items. I feel that they're well worth the price.

Stains easily and can’t remove them

Haven’t had them for a week and they’re already stained by the foods I have prepared this week. Spaghetti sauce and yellow curry. I’ve tried soaking them in water and vinegar to remove the stains and they are even further discolored. I contacted Calphalon and followed their instructions on how to remove stains, and no luck. Don’t recommend these if you cook foods with color.

Calphalon makes ridiculously good nylon utensils

Quality set with all of the essential utensils. I needed to replace a couple of decade+ old Calphalon spatulas that were showing their age and it’s a better deal to buy a set. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the angular edge on one side and the rounded corner on the other, but they have grown on me and are actually quite versatile. I haven’t found a use for the serrated edge on the turner, but it isn’t detrimental either. All told, I’m very happy with the set so far. They work great with my nonstick cookware.

These are as well designed as the pans. I chose to abandon the hodge-podge assortment of utensils and continue with the Caphalon products I already own. I am NOT a professional chief but I use these for cooking my every day meals and they are STURDY. There have been no meals that I cannot concoct that challenge the integrity of these items. They are seemingly impervious to hot liquids, dish washers and man-handling everything from gumbo to marinara. I am completely satisfied.

Not as heat resistant as I’d like

All my pots and pans are Calphalon so I wanted a set of utensils to match. Like my pots and pants, this set looks good. I know you’re not supposed to rest the utensil against the pan, but on first use, a house guest did so after cooking some eggs, and the plastic already melted. :( My spatula looks like it had been used for years but this is after first use. :(
