This is the second time I've bought this kind of cookie sheet. I tried other brands of insulated cookie sheets, and none come close to this Calphalon.
I'll admit I'm happier with the same brand/model I bought here in 2016, but maybe the cookie sheets become "seasoned" with use? I have no idea, but even the new one is far better than other, competing products I've tried in the past few weeks, looking for a slightly less expensive version of this.
Cookies don't stick, and turn out well, even in an oven with uneven heat. Also, you don't need to add extra cooking time to offset the insulation. I'm making chocolate chip cookies, and the baking time is exactly the same, whether I use this tray or an uninsulated one.

Take Great Care of Your Bakeware
For a lifetime of great results and delicious desserts, follow these simple steps:
-- Before using bakeware for the first time, wash in warm, sudsy water and dry thoroughly.
-- For best results, do not use aerosol cooking sprays. Sprays are difficult to remove, and can build up on nonstick surfaces and lessen food release effectiveness.
-- Allow bakeware to cool before cleaning. Never immerse hot bakeware in cold water; doing so can cause irreparable warping
-- Bakeware is dishwasher safe. You can also hand wash using a liquid dishwashing detergent and soft, nonabrasive cleaning sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaning pads or cleansers as they can damage your bakware.
-- Plastic covers are for storage only; do not place plastic covers in the oven or on a hot pan. Plastic covers are top-rack dishwasher safe. You can also hand wash using a liquid dishwashing detergent and soft, nonabrasive cleaning sponge.

30 years using Calphalon and I've never been disappointed

I was initially puzzled by the presence of small holes in each corner of the bottom layer of the sheet, but Calphalon customer service verified that "The holes are there to assist with air flow, to help protect baked goods from over-browning." These holes will also allow any water that accidentally gets in during washing to drain out, unlike what happens when the seal on an AirBake pan leaks. There is a warning on the bottom of the pan about the steam that might be released. I am much more impressed with the quality of these sheets than I was with my AirBake pans.

After one month of occasional use, the non stick started coming off in circles. Clearly defective. I never used any metal utensils on the product, as I have been using non stick cookie sheets for years.
