- The blue wire is reverse trigger wire.
- If the blue wire is connected to the backup light positive, the switch button on the screen is useless, you need to use the remote control to switch V1/V2.

- If you want to switch V1 / V2 directly on the monitor, please do not connect the blue wire.

Install this item is a very interesting process. Kindly try the following procedure steps.
Two cameras can connect to constant power or backup light source.
1. Monitor port:
- The monitor has a red, black and blue (green) cable. The red wire connected to positive 12V, black wire to ground, the green(blue) wire is V2 reverse trigger. You could connect blue wire to backup light positive source. When car shifts into reverse, monitor will show V2 image automatically. If you want 2 cameras full time working, do not connect with blue wire.
- Use AV cable to wiring 2 cameras to the monitor directly.
2. Camera Port
- Package include 2 power cord, connect camera to backup light power, red wire to positive, black wire to ground. Or use constant 12V/24V battery to power on two cameras.
- According to your needs, to adjust camera mount location.
When car driving on road, you could switch picture by V1 / V2 button or remote control. According to install wiring diagram , to test your product before hooked up onto vehicle:

The camera is easy enough to mount. Most installations will require either drilling tap holes or using small self-tapping screws.
One point to be aware of is that the camera has two plugs that will need to be passed through the exterior wall to prevent later water issues. This requires drilling a 7/16" hole near the camera mount point. Note that you should leave a "drip loop" between the entry point and the camera to direct water away from the entry hole. The entry hole will need be sealed with silicone caulk since the hole needs to be significantly larger than the wires to allow the plugs to pass through.
The monitor was easy to mount and is flexible for different configurations. I mounted mine from the ceiling since the rear view mirror is pointless in my vehicle. This gives it a natural positioning for rear view and prevents me from having to drill holes in the dash to mount it.
The video is sufficient. It seems to be a little color-blind...green mostly registers as gray although red and blue come through fairly well. I am not sure if this is because of the camera or the monitor. That said, it is comparable with many factory installed rear view cameras I have seen. It is definitely not HD quality, but it does the job (see photos).

I had not looked at this camera setup for almost 1 1/2 years so it took me a little experimentation to remember how to wire it. It is simple enough once you get the concept. I powered the system up with a LiPo jumper battery before committing to putting it in the car. I was a little disappointed to find that I could not turn off the parking grid. I may buy a non grid camera or just learn to live with it as is. The night vision is not super but overall I am pleased.

Cables are generously long for a passenger car, and provided wiring works without modification.
It'll be helpful to be able to do basic soldering and understand 2-wire circuits. The manufacturer suggests testing your wiring setup before doing the installation; a good idea if you have the power supply and expertise to rig it up. My system worked fine without having to do any troubleshooting.
I don't recall seeing very extensive instructions but really didn't need any.
The night vision LEDs appear slightly blue in the monitor and the low-light switching is kind of finicky.
The monitor base is pretty good, you can lock it down with the knurled knob and it's fairly stable. There is also a snap-in frame to mount the monitor onto a flat surface instead of using the base.
I had to remove the little "rain hoods" in order to mount the cameras upside-down hanging from the bumpers, then used rubber washers to fill in the resultant gaps left between the "U" brackets and the camera bodies. It is too bad tht the supplied wiring terminates in molded-on RCA connectors, this makes getting the wires through a firewall or trunk drain plug a little more difficult by requiring larger holes... you could clip the wires then re-connect them to the RCA connectors on the other side; I chose to leave the wires intact and fill bigger holes with silicone sealant.
All-in-all, these are a fair value for the price. I would not re-purchase, however, due to the PAL format cameras, inability to export the video signal to a recorder, and the sub-720 resolution.

The quality was so bad, you couldn't read a number plate off a car
sitting close behind you, got a replacement monitor and was exact same,
its not the camera because I tried a different camera.
KEEP CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT.....
