Fast delivery by K7Sport and the bike is well packaged with foam protecting the frame, fork, seat and circular cardboards to protect the wheels.
The bike was shipped with the front wheel uninstalled. Installing the front wheel was easy.
Make sure the alignment washer hook mates with the fork small eyelet on each side of the fork and tighten the nuts by hand for now. Rotate front tire a few times to make sure rotor doesn’t rub any of the brake pads or make squeaky noise. If aligned properly the rotor sits between the brake pads and shouldn’t hear any squeaky noise. Once aligned, tighten the nuts with a 15mm socket/wrench.
The Stem Handlebar Assembly was also easily installed with a Torque Screw Handle quick release tightened by hand. This is the same Torque Screw Handle that you loosen when you fold and unfold the bike. No problem installing the folding pedals as it is clearly marked R (Right Side) and L (Left Side).
Folding the bike is done in Two-Step Process
1) Release the Frame Latch quick release and fold frame
2) Loosen the Stem Handlebar Torque Screw Handle and turn 90 Degrees so that handlebar is parallel with the frame. That’s it.
Overall the Camp Rocky Folding MTB is a quality bike, easy to handle and can be stored indoors. It can be folded easily to bring along campus buses/shuttles to visit nearby towns and get you where you want to go on weekends.
It's been about 4 months now and there are a few problems, I got a flat cause the tube is very thin, bought a reinforced, thick one. Now the left peddle keeps popping off. This MIGHT be negligence with cleaning on my part however, I've never had a problem like this with other bikes. Regardless, it's not a big deal and overall I feel this is a great buy for what I need it for.
One last thing that might be important, it IS pretty heavy. You might not think 40lbs (give or take) is much but because this thing is so awkward it makes it a challenge to put in a car or even carry it around if you're thinking about college. The folding is really only useful for loading it up in a car. I would just buy a bike rack for my car, that way I can use the space for other stuff and avoid the hassle of shoving it in the trunk of back seat.
