So I enjoyed this book. It had a fun plot, the characters were great and the pace was good. However, it just ends with a line like, "How often do you get to meet a unicorn?" Don't get wrong it's a great line but not a good ending to the book. While it was an enjoyable book I needed more. I will have to see if there are more books now.
I cannot wait to pick up the next "merit badge" book and find out what will happen next!
Phoenix watching was action-packed and kept us both completely engrossed right up till the end. Chris is a great storyteller, and makes the whole story seem incredibly real.
You'll love this one - trust us!
The sad thing is, if Percy Jackson wasn't around, I might have given this three stars. It's okay. Nothing spectacular, but some kids would doubtless be into it. But while it exists in the same universe as the far superior inspiration piece, it gets knocked down HARD.
Available as a free audio production from Cast of Wonders.
Found the book to be a good little read, nice break from my thrillers.
Great for kids to read and adults too.
Well written just wish there had been more. :)
