Great to have so many campgrounds at your fingertips. We enjoyed the style of writing and the content. The photos helped us remember which places we had already been. Would be perfect for the tent camper. Since we are hauling a long travel trailer it would have been more helpful if it had listed the length of the campsites and if the road to get to the site were appropriate for hauling a trailer. Overall, we are happy to have this as part of out library.

It gave me all the information I needed for my trip to Oregon...Booked all my reservations at State Parks along the ocean.

Useful, engagingly written, & mostly accurate (which is tough since things change so much), this is well-worth having in your outdoor library! Also includes some info on camping with dogs (because the author takes her dog along), which is good to have as well. A few quibbles with ratings, but nothing to complain about. Just wish there were more campgrounds included!

After purchasing our travel trailer, we purchase several camping books for Oregon. This was the best of the bunch, easy to follow by region, `tree' rating, and a good description of what you'll actually experience at the campground. A great reference; and a must for anyone wanting to explore Oregon's campgrounds.

Readers would be advised to buy a map of Oregon and explore campsites on their own rather than buy this overpriced book.
The author at times tries for a latter day version of Travels with Charley, but doesn't pull it off. The editors of this guide allowed too many pictures which are either irrelevent to the reader or are unfocussed.
