    We are in an era where we have to be very mindful about where and how we dispose off our trash. I want to help my lo understand the importance of it from childhood itself. The cover page of the book caught my attention at first look. The book has wonderful illustrations to show what will happen if we are careless about it. It is a story of a green monster who finds trash on the beach and looks at the consequences of it while he goes into the water. Although my son has a very short span of interest, he stayed at one place while reading this book and kept asking for reading it over and over again. This book has few illustrations that probably he doesn't get it yet but its good to put it in his ears at early age because kids at this age are very good at connecting the dots when they see something related they have read earlier. He loves this book and screams out at the end saying - hey friends, put the trash in the trash can! Thats a very good lesson to start with at his age - (2 years) :) Reviewed by @jayawadhwani on instagram.

    I am a big recycler and try to be as earth friendly as possible, to the point where I often bug friends and family. I am trying to instill those values in my son, and thought this book looked great. I skimmed the first couple pages, it has very cute art work thoughout that I loved and the story seemed cute; a little monster noticing trash on the beach and wondering what he can do about it. However once I got home and was able to read the whole thing I felt like it was a little over the top especially for the targeted age group. One of the things the book tells kids to do is wear biodegradable sun screen while at the beach, so that the chemicals don't get in the water and harm the fish. I feel like at this age (2-5 year olds) just teaching them to simply leave places better than they found them and teaching them what reusing and recycling means would have been good. Over all I felt like the book was just too much even for me.
