I have to be honest, my primary goal here was getting the 8GB RAM model of the Pi 4, as they've been hard to find. However, looking at the kit, it is exactly what someone new to working with singleboard computers needs to have a good time getting started. The case is incredibly well made, being entirely screwless while still fitting together perfectly. The power supply has passed some rigorous testing standards to be UL C/USA certified, so it's not just some generic phone charger, the power button relay cable makes for a much easier time turning it on and off than just unplugging it, and the manual is well written with documentation on simple projects included. Additionally, it's nice to see it bundled with a UHS-3 MicroSD card by a big name brand, which gives it relatively fast I/O and hopefully a pretty long lifespan as a boot medium. I am definitely not the target audience for this kit, but after getting it I really do appreciate the lengths this company went to in order to make a very nice product.

I bought one of these to create a NAS for our home as well as run a few services that I had been running on a rather large 10-year-old desktop. I wanted new hardware as well as to free up some desk space in my home office, and I'd been looking for an excuse for several years to buy a Raspberry Pi. Everything I had been told about the Pi was completely true. I had it up and running in minutes. It's super easy to set up and, whether you go with the Noobs distribution that it's bundled with or go with straight Raspbian, it's easy to configure. I went with the 8 GB model to have some added flexability, but I probably would have been just as happy with the 4 GB version. The fan is super quiet, and I've been impressed with how cool it keeps it. The case is very nice, and all of the other parts in this kit seem very high quality. It was litterally assembled in minutes; I even got my 9-year-old and 7-year-old involved in the assembly. With a few external disks attached, I'm up and running with my NAS, and the whole family is happy. If you're looking for a tiny computer for projects or running services around the house and you want some growing room, I'd highly recommend this Pi kit.

I wanted to get this kit to run Kali Linux ARM distro for my Cyber Security hands on Labs. I also purchased the Argon One metal case which has built in blocks to go on the processor and I/O chip set and has a built-in cooling fan. The kit comes with a 128GB Micro-SD card with NOOBS on it. A word of warning here, the booklet tells you to put your mini HDMI in the port closest to the power input. If you boot it this way it will stay stuck on the rainbow screen. After much research, it turns out that you just need to switch HDMI ports on the Raspberry PI. So, don't be like me and think the SD card is defective. There are a lot of different operating systems to play with. So, if you like to experiment, get some extra Micro-SD cards. the official Raspberry Pi Imager has quite a few distros. You can also download anything that will run on the ARM architecture. If you are a Retro Gamer, there are a plethora of choices out there. People who enjoy Linux will absolutely love this little beast. If you are a student, you can experiment and if something goes wrong, pull out the SD card and simply re-install the operating system. It has wireless built in and is very portable. There is a kit sold here on Amazon that you can put a 7 inch screen into. So you can take it anywhere. I hope you find this useful. God bless Amazon!

Just received my kit, and unfortunately the package DOES NOT include what is mentioned!!
The picture shows everything I received within the package.
There is :
No MicroSD 128GB.
No Fan.
No USB MicroSD Card Reader.

The packages I received contains only these:
Raspberry Pi 4 chip.
Power supply.
HDMI cable.
Raspberry Pi case.

Nothing else.

Edit:
The actually have sent me a Raspberry Pi 3 model B instead of Raspberry Pi 4 as the picture shows .

Edit 2:
Issue resolved by returning & replacing the item. The support was helpful in resolving the issue. The raspberry pi itself is outstanding. I just noticed that the NOOBS preloaded by default contains the 32-bit RasperryOS. You need to install your own 64-bit system if you want to take advantage of the 8 GB ram.

I received another Pi computer for my birthday, just the computer board. I had to search all over for the cables, power supply and all the rest of the items to get the Pi running. This kit from CanaKit was a Christmas and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Not only were all the items need in the box but they included and much appreciated card with the GPIO pins identified. Assembling was a snap, literally as no tools were required to put the case and fan together. If I build another Pi, the CanaKit will be the one for me.

One of the biggest headaches ever when it really shouldn’t, installing an OS in the micro sd card should be the simplest things ever but after trying on all OS from Windows/Mac/ Linux to format fat32 & install a Rasp or put noobs it has not worked. Not sure if pi4 8GB model has issues with the 128GB sd card ? But this kit would ideally be really useful if I could boot anything. I’ve contacted canakit & all the responses I get is just giving me the downloads page so it’s been useless. No help whatsoever
