Curren$y is my favorite rapper right now! The consistency of his music is amazing. How he manages to stay so laid back after the length of time he has been making music. How he manages to stay away from trends and jus make that good "stoner" music. How he is as lyrically sharp as any of your favorite 90s style rappers, without talking about how good he is but just telling stories. Would not have guessed that a project with 808 mafia would go this well for him. But he brings them into his world instead of going to their world and we are all better for it. The beats are laid back as always but with that trap 808 mafia vibe so it's just different enough to be interesting. Best songs: speed, drive by, winning, everywhere.
It still has that original Jet Life flavor sprinkled with new school. Though I am not a fan of new school Curren$y knows how to blend it just right to not alienate the old fans. Nice mix of some good driving music, late nite music, and chill music. Speed, Bottom of the Bottle, Superstar, Str8 are on the insta-rotate. Just Enjoy This Stuff.
I've been listening to spitta since 08 and I can say this isn't his best work. BUT he give us so much free work and pilot talk 3 was great. He still keeps his style on this one but its a little more mainstream. And to a real spitta fan that's not what we necessarily want. He does have several dope songs on here.
Curren$y does it once again the creative artist who is in his own class aka spitta has really own up to that title strong structure album for the both males and females good trunk music as well and can definitely get your groove on to this album if you know what I mean
Been a Spitta fan for quite some time now and I enjoy how seamlessly the transition to please several people and still satisfy his own fulfillment plus the jets fans is incredible. Support the cause of real soul music that thumps in the trunk but got substance. My favorite is "Winning" feat. Wiz Kahlifa which is a toast to their success.
Decent album, has that underground feel spitta is known for my guess is these were the songs that didn't make pilot talk III, definitely a must have for any fan #jets
