The first part describes the understanding of cancer issues including the role of the immune system in disease and healing, radiation, chemotherapy, mammograms and far more.
The next section focuses on nutrition. The author is a well qualified expert in this field having researched the subject in depth. "Empowering yourself to Wellness" is most inspiring. Facts and advice are generously shared, including details about antioxidants, free radicals, fatty acids, herbs, vitamins, minerals - even coffee and chocolate! Sample menu planning ideas with recipes, holistic preventive measures to avoid breast cancer and useful information resources are presented.
The last part includes copious information concerning holistic non-toxic healthcare resources: integrative cancer care, doctors who treat the entire body holistically, acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, thermography and many more methods.
In the appendix some shocking facts are stated concerning the polio vaccine which up to 100 million people received and which was found to be contaminated with a cancer causing virus strain. This strain, SV40, is still being found in human tumors today; some of the consequences of injecting other vaccines containing poisonous substances and foreign DNA are apparently unknown and may be horrific.
The endnotes provide online website addresses to additional information and/or scientific documentation.
Although the subject is serious, the guide is a pleasure to read and a source of inspiration. It is also a valuable reference work.
There are many entertaining and thought provoking quotations including the English proverb "Don't dig your grave with your own knife and fork!"; "Cancer is a word, not a sentence" (John Diamond) and these words of Sir Winston Churchill which surely represent the message of the book as a whole: "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference"!
Clearly and passionately written, the protocols are easy to understand and follow.
I highly recommend this book. It can be a life saver.
