A cancer diagnosis always causes fear. All of us have seen relatives and friends destroyed by conventional cancer treatment. Now, thanks to books like this one and the Internet, you can quickly learn what you need to know. You can heal the cancer using natural, non-toxic substances that work. What you need is a guide to cut through the overwhelming jungle of information. This book provides that guide. The information in it has been refined over twelve years using feedback from real cancer survivors about what worked for them. Bill Henderson, one of the authors, has counseled about 4,000 cancer patients by phone and video in 64 countries. At least 3,000 of them have recovered using his information. He is not a medical professional. He is a "reporter" furnishing you with information that consists of "what he would do if he were you or your loved one." His coaching is available to you after you have read this book, if you need it. The co-author is Dr. Carlos Garcia, a formally trained M.D. who has broken out of that mold and trained himself to be a well-informed holistic physician. His Utopia Wellness clinic in Oldsmar, Florida regularly helps Stage IV cancer patients heal themselves. Bill Henderson has published 165 free newsletters on natural cancer treatment to 38,000 subscribers all over the world, starting in 1999. The information in these newsletters has now been incorporated into this, his third book. The book is up-to-date, specific and accurate. Bill and Dr. Garcia inform you of over 140 web sites and dozens of other books and newsletters you can use to expand your knowledge of natural cancer treatment. The self-treatments they recommend are harmless enough that you can start them immediately, without more research, if you like. They do not interfere with conventional cancer therapy, if that is your choice. In fact, they offset most of the side effects of that treatment. "Cancer is not a disease," says Bill. "It is a reaction to what your body has experienced. Reverse those causes and the cancer goes away. Continue what you did to reverse it and it stays away." Bill explains that there are four common characteristics of all cancers. These have been known since the 1920's: 1. Low oxygen uptake by the cells. 2. A weak immune system. 3. Toxins -- usually caused by diet and dental work. 4. Acidity -- again, usually caused by diet, as well as stress and dental work. Bill Henderson's and Dr. Garcia's recommended regimen tracks with the knowledge for which Otto Warburg, a famous German doctor and researcher, won a Nobel Prize in 1931. He described the cancer cell and stressed the need to reverse the above four characteristics of the cancer in order to heal it. None of these are addressed by conventional cancer treatment. Bill's mission to help cancer patients heal started with his experience with his former wife, Marjorie. Her ovarian cancer was treated with conventional cancer treatment from 1990 to 1994, when she died. Bill is convinced that the treatment killed her. He wants to help as many people as possible avoid her fate. Dr. Garcia's mission is to help cancer patients heal themselves starting in a controlled clinical environment and continuing at home. He has been doing this successfully for 15 years.

Simple, easy to understand and implement, and EFFECTIVE guide to becoming Cancer Free. I read many other books on healing cancer naturally, and none of them come close to this one. I've added a few supplements like pancreatic enzymes, Vit. E, Graviola, Bitter Apricot kernels, zinc, chlorella (for heavy metal removal) and nascent iodine. Since I am just beginning this protocol, I don't have any results to report, but I've done the baseline Navarro hCG test, and in another month or so, I'll do another to see how I'm doing.

I know people have had success with this book...or so they say...but we did not get the results we were hoping for. My husband was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.He was in an early stage, so we figured while we were waiting to meet with doctors, and run tests we would try and treat it naturally. We bought this book and followed it for two months. The only thing we changed was taking out the budwig portion of the diet. We only did that for one month because our naturopathic oncologist said flaxseed in high doses was not helpful for cancer.

While he did lose a ton of weight, felt better, and his inflammation markers went down, the cancer did not shrink or go away. The book says if you follow the treatment that you will see a change in 6 weeks. We saw some change but we did not see a change in the actual lymph swelling.

Some say you have to be on the diet and supplements longer, like 6 months, but with such a treatable cancer we did not want to risk it anymore. After two treatments of chemotherapy, the lymph swelling is completely gone. Yes chemo is harsh, but for this particular cancer it works. If this was a different cancer that was less likely to be effected by chemo would we have stuck it out naturally? Maybe...it is hard to say. Just be careful with the natural healing stuff. I am a firm believer the body can heal itself but sometimes combining natural and conventional is the way to go.

I don't want to discourage anyone from trying to treat cancer naturally. I think it's possible and there is a lot of truth in this book. Its definitely worth the read...but I would get advise from multiple sources...you don't want to risk your life on it.

Or, they should see a holistic physician with the philosophy outlined in this book before they make a decision about intervention therapy choices.

It breaks my heart to give this book a negative review because we felt so empowered upon first reading it. My husband is a very healthy, athletic man, and we have always eaten and lived in a way that our friends and family would define as being very health-conscious. We followed the protocol to the letter, never "cheated" once, and took every single one of the supplements recommended in the protocol. We began this protocol three days after his initial diagnosis, and we really, really believed it would cure stage three lung cancer for a non-smoker. But nine weeks later, when we had another CAT scan done, the cancer had not diminished in the least. We are now facing surgery, and are feeling the same disempowerment we felt before we found this book and thought we had found the answer. Thank God the cancer hadn't spread to stage four, or we wouldn't even have this option.

I'm SO grateful to Bill (and his late wife) for this book! It was the first book I read after being diagnosed with cancer and finding the anticancermom and chrisbeatcancer blogs. From my diagnosis I spent one day thinking chemo was my only option - these three resources alone gave me everything that I needed to KNOW conventional treatment not only is NOT the only option, but it shouldn't be in so many cases, especially if cancer was diagnosed early - but even if it wasn't. I've since met five people face to face who have healed from cancer 100% naturally, so there isn't a bone in me that doesn't trust this process completely.
This book is easy to read, concise, straight to the point, and lays out an exact protocol that you can follow quite easily. A must-read for anyone diagnosed with cancer or interested in prevention

UPDATE: I write this update two years into my natural treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. I'm still grateful for the message of hope I've received through this book BUT it was one of the many promoting a diet without fruits because of the assumption that their sugar would contribute to cancer growth. I've spent one and half years eating no fruits (and even went keto for a while), which was a huge disservice to my health and energy levels. I'm now undoing the damage, and for the first time I can see my symptoms reversing on a diet that's 80% raw fruit and veg (mostly fruit), 10% protein and 10% fat. If you've been diagnosed with cancer, read Dr Douglas Graham's 801010 Diet instead.
