If you are a person who looks for the Truth in your investigation of information then this is truely A TRUTH type of book. There was an attempt on this mans life for attempting to create Valid Case studies, which he did. Much of his work was stolen so he went to Mexico to re-do all his case studies. He cured Albert Swartzer's wife and Albert himself, two different health issues. He already cured tuburculosis by the 30"s. The he cured 50 people of TERMINAL CANCER, who were told by their doctors to go home and enjoy the rest of their short time on earth with their family. He lay's out a whole regiment of how too's and what too's, while explaining the Diet Theropy (Diet is misleading in that we think of diet as a fad; whereas this is a specific diet for the Bodies Organs). Trust me this is a book to have. His institute's are all over the world now. San Diego has an institute there. Amazing man. From Nazi germany to Mexico. Anyone who has a family member who needs your help, which in the terminal stages the person is like an infant and will require much attention. This book helps you to understand the stages, what they are, how the body reacts and what you can do to help. The book gives you freedom to help the person completely, with a little Doctors attention. I suggest getting an OrthoMolecular Doctor. They are the best, in my opinion. Or any AMA certified Doctor who has turned to the Homiopathic, Natural medicines. These men are far more advanced in the understanding that the body is Organic and that Pharmaceuticals KILL. We are first Electrical then Chemical, but without the right nutrients for the bodies many various systems to create and generate various enzymes, proteins, molecular substances that travel throughout our bodies and deposit where they are designed to go. Hippocrotice made it very clear in his time that: Our bodies are of the Earth, so we need substance from the Earth to replenish it. Many people are aware of the direct poisoning of our commercial brand foods. G.M.O.'s, Monsantoes Frankenstein seeds, all the soy (which is a pure form of ESTROGEN) and is actually bad for you, especially in such large doses, which if you look at your food lables see how many items have soy, soy lethicin, Canola Oil (soy product). Look ask yourself. Why are boy's, in the last 12-15 years, growing breast and many reports of babies with no testicals. It's a bit scarry the Eugenics Programs and the way they wage war against our bodies. People in the pictures of the 20"s show skinny men and woman, relatively. They smoked way too much, drank Way too much and ate many very rich fatty foods, but hardly a cancer, fibermiyalga, ADHD, Autism (remember they didn't really start the Eugenics based vaccines untill the early 30"s. Well anyway, this book explains alot and is a true need for anyone afflicted with this horrible, designed, curse of Cancer.

I purchased this book in February 2015 and started the Gerson Therapy in March 2015 and it is now a year that i have been following the therapy and would like to give a review. I have read both A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases and Healing the Gerson Way. Both are good books and both serve a purpose. This book's purpose is to give you some of the history and science behind how Dr. Gerson came to his understanding and development of the Gerson Therapy. It is not light reading. I have been desperately ill for many years first following my conventional Dr.'s recommendations that were not helpful then to alternative therapies that helped, but only so far. Finally, after the death of a dear family member to liver cancer, I searched and researched and found the Gerson Therapy as a way to heal disease not just manage sickness. That is the defining characteristic that differentiates the Gerson Therapy from any other diet or protocol out there.

Even Dr. Gerson was amazed by the power within the body to heal once given the right nutrients and removal of toxins, rest, and medications(what we call supplements, these days). Healing the Gerson Way tells you how to follow the protocol with what to do all day every day, but this book A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fify Cases, gave me confidence in the science behind it.

And for what it is worth, people are complaining that patients died on Dr. Gerson's therapy in this book. Apparently these folks didn't take note of the fact that every one of Dr. Gerson's patients had been dismissed by their conventional Dr. to go home and die. Dr. Gerson would not allow them in the program otherwise, so here is a book about 50 cases that lived and lived for a long time after being told by their doctors "sorry". And he had many more he healed. Yes, some folks died a long the way as he worked tirelessly to improve the therapy, but they were doomed to die by their doctors. How many people do you know that have died while under their doctor's care for cancer now?

I have been following the non-malignant protocol for a year now and have seen a huge improvement, so much so that I am still fully committed to following for the recommended 2 years. So far I am now no longer considered diabetic, early stage kidney disease has healed, and I have lost 25 pounds which was impossible for me to lose before Gerson. I have energy and a sunny outlook and hope for a future now that I couldn't see before. I still have way more healing to do which is why I am staying with it, nothing else has ever helped me like this before. Gerson Therapy is not for the faint of heart, it is a lot of work that never takes a vacation, having loving support for the healing patient is a must if healing cancer. I don't think I could do it if it wasn't for my husband's help. Some people think it is selfish to work so hard and expect other people to sacrifice to help you, but isn't it more selfish to NOT take care of yourself and die an early sickly death?

Another great read from Dr. Gerson. After reading the book "Dr Max Gerson Healing The Hopeless" written by his grandson Howard Straus I had to read this book written by the doctor himself. How many lives have to be cured before this treatment is accepted by the public. Isn't one life enough?. Dr. Gerson spent his whole life treating and saving lives without ever placing a price for profit on it. Yet he was vilified and hated by members of his own profession. All for profit of the sick and dying. Since the 1940's the same type of treatments have been used for the treatment of cancer, surgery, chemo, and radiation. After seventy plus years and don't forget billions spent it's gotten worse, no further ahead than the 1940's. Where is all this money donated by individuals every day going?. All these so called non-profit organizations that collect millions in the name of research for saving lives, how many lives have they saved?. Yet Dr. Gerson saved many lives and some are still living today. How much proof is needed?. It's about the money not saving lives. There is, was and will always be more profit in looking for a cure than actually having one. What would have happened if the Pepper-Neely bill S. 1875 would have been approved in 1946?. Well we will never know?. How many people have suffered and died since 1946, this we do know. The prophet has come and gone, but the billions of dollars keep coming in the mane of research, what a racket.. GREAT READ....

I went a bit backwards with this and read Charlotte's (granddaughter) work before Max's original stuff... Honestly, Charlotte's (Cancer: Healing the Gerson way) is a MUCH easier read and frankly, a much easier road map than this, but, this book is written by the Godfather of the method and goes into real scientific detail which made me realise even stronger that this is the route to go down.

Once I'd read what the big G was on about, the 50 testimonials are frankly unbelievable... I mean, they happened obviously but the remission are terrific... It really hammer home that if these people who've been given weeks to live can hit miraculous remission, you can too!
