About Candice Gilmer
USA Today and NY Times bestselling author Candice Gilmer leads a dangerous double life as a mommy and a writer. In between boo-boo healing and fixing broken toys, she writes stories usually to the tune of children's television shows.
Her books range from vampires and werewolves to mermaids and fairies to contemporary and fairy tale romances--a huge variety, just like her broad, geek-girl heart. She adores Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and DC, (you CAN love them all), and her hero will always be Captain America.
Growing up in the Midwest, Candice stays close to her family, especially the ones with basements when the tornadoes come around.
All in all, she stays very busy, but really, she wouldn't have it any other way.
Well, maybe a little less children's television.

Home, however, is taking a different route than these cyborgs expect.
Most Wanted Alien Brides Book 1
When the Intergalactic Dating Agency mistakes a prison ship for their new clients looking for mates, cyborg Kolvin jumps at the opportunity. A new life, with the bonus of a ready-made wife? How can this go badly?
But when Kolvin meets his mate, she winds up not being what he expects.
She drives him crazy. She's not even from his dimension. His Craving, however, wants what it wants, and he finds himself at the mercy of it.
Tina Craige, an astronomer from Earth, is pretty sure she's dead. After all, one does not walk through an excavated arch and wind up in another dimension. Especially not in one where a giant cyborg humanoid wants her as a mate.
When she discovers that he's traumatized from being held prisoner of war, she can't bring herself to abandon him. Not yet.
She has thirty days to accept this giant cyborg as her mate, PTSD and all, or return to her dimension and Earth, as if she'd never left. And never see, or remember, him again.
Will she be able to give up everything for her cyborg mate?
Leaving the Terran Empire's POW camp, they thought they found their way home.
Home, however, is taking a different route than these cyborgs expect.
When the transport landed at Disguised Serenity, the last thing that Solkan wanted to do was be shuffled into the Intergalactic Dating Agency's offices and tested.
He had plenty of tests as a prisoner of war of the Terran Empire. Doing more, even if it was to find his mate, just pissed him off. He'd been in solitary for a reason. He didn't want to be around anyone.
Especially not a mate. Cyborgs weren't supposed to be slaves to their Cravings. Solkan refused to be slaved to anyone, ever again.
Now that the prisoners are being released, it's time to be free.
As if that's ever possible.
Terran officer Addigale Vinka spent a great deal of time around the cyborgs. So much so, she was fired. She bonded too easily with them, or so she was told. Especially Solkan.
Whatever it was about Solkan, she couldn't help the desire to be around him. The others? They were fine, but Solkan?
It was beyond the fact that he was spectacular to look at. She felt something.
Now, though, she might have a chance.
Then maybe, she and her favorite cyborg have a chance to see if this thing between them is really important, or just a prisoner falling for his jailer.
Home, however, is taking a different route than these cyborgs expect.
Most Wanted Alien Brides Book 2
Being mistaken for an Intergalactic Dating Agency client may be the best thing that could have ever happened to Rhimodian cyborg, Marcin. At least, that was his first thought. But when he meets his mate, she winds up being obsessed with something called eggplant.
His Craving burns for her, but making the stubborn woman hear him becomes harder than he thought.
Gianna Rosco, a writer from Earth, cannot believe this new dimension she and her BFF Tina find themselves in. Giant cyborgs searching for their mates? And they fit the bill? Heck yeah. They'll treat them, right, right?
That's what she thinks until she finds out that Marcin is just like any other guy she'd ever met on Earth. But he's just as growly and demanding as anyone else.
Besides, this guy doesn't have anything. Not a house, not a car, or spaceship or whatever it is they use, he doesn't have it.
All he's got is a big old eggplant that really likes her peach.
While a month of enjoying eggplant is always fun, she's not ready to be bound to just one vegetable. Variety is the spice of life, right?
Marcin, however, wants her forever.
Gianna isn't really sure she's ready for that, even though her heart has other ideas. The thirty day escape clause is sounding better and better, especially when his secret comes out.
Will she be able to accept him as her cyborg mate? Or will she run for the portal back home?
Can this Fairy Godmother help him correct his really bad choices?
Guys and Godmothers book 2
When Fairy Godmother Lilly Bloom gets her latest assignment, the rules send her into a minor panic attack. She must bring two people together—using as little magic as possible. And these two have their own special problems.
Including some really bad judgment.
Photographer Bruce Matthews has finally found someone who really, really gets him. He and Greta like the same things, laugh at the same jokes. There’s just one thing—he’s never actually seen her face to face. Her social media profile bears no picture.
Much as Greta Vandecall yearns to leave her small town and meet her online prince charming, secrets chain her to the past and force her to hide her face from the world. Secrets she knows would destroy the friendship she values most.
A steampunk convention seems to be the perfect way to meet face to mask. And in the excitement of the moment they connect in a very warm, real way. But cold, hard reality isn’t far behind. And if Lilly fails, this time she’ll lose her fairy godmother status. For good.
The Terran Empire is at war with The Rhimodian cyborgs. The Terrans believe the cyborgs have stolen a system of planets from them. At least, that's how it started.
It degenerated into hatred and fear.
◆Book 4 in the Galactic Storm Series◆
Imperial Princess Eleanor Bron wants to prove her worth. Though truly, what could she do, as a second child? She was not the heir to the Empire. She was merely the backup plan. While her sister Caoimhe never treated her as anything less, it was obvious that no one expected Eleanor to be more than bartering material for whatever merger the Emperor formed.
The peace treaty with the Rhimodian cyborgs is the first time Eleanor has ever been sent on any sort of diplomatic mission, and she's nervous. After all, their mother died on a diplomatic mission to create a peace treaty with the Rhimodians.
What could happen to her? The spare? The unimportant one?
Jedriek, the youngest in his unit, had initially been bored with the mission of escorting the Terran Ambassadors into the Sol system for the peace negotiations. He would much rather be out there fighting.
At least, that's how he felt about it, until he saw the picture of the Princesses.
Unsure which one is which, Jedriek finds himself immediately drawn to the one with the bright blue eyes.
When the Ambassador's ship explodes, Jedriek finds himself face to face with that very princess. And he is enthralled with her. Petite and curvy, she awakens his Craving like nothing he'd ever known.
More so than any previous experience, Jedriek knows that he will do whatever he has to in order to please her.
Fight the entire Terran Military by himself, if he has to.
When Eleanor crashes on Sol-2, a desert and mountainous moon, she finds herself teaming up with a giant cyborg. Even bigger than she'd been told.
And he stares at her like she's a prize. She'd been seen like a prize before, and she wasn't about to be this cyborg's prize.
So she does the only thing she can think of to save herself and her sister.
She lies.
The Terran Empire is at war with The Rhimodian cyborgs. The Terrans believe the cyborgs have stolen a system of planets from them. At least, that's how it started.

◆Book 3 in the Galactic Storm Series◆
Peace negotiations are in place. It is time to bring a stop to this war that has raged on for far too long between the Rhimodian cyborgs and the Terran Empire.
Lady Bianca must travel to Sol before the peace talks to secure the Terran Ambassador's quarters and make sure that everything is ready for the coming negotiations.
Upon arriving on the scorching main world of the Rhimodians, she meets Harbin.
The cyborg is much taller than her, and almost immediately annoyed with meeting her. However she's not afraid. Maybe she should be. After all, she had heard all the stories of the robotic monsters, the Rhimodians, for the last decade. Arriving on their main world, a lava-filled volcanic world.
While only cordial at first, Bianca starts to get more acquainted with Harbin, and realizes he is much more interesting and desirable than she had ever expected. His suit was so tight, she saw all of his assets, and fine assets they were.
Irritated at his assignment, Harbin meets the Terran emissary, Lady Bianca. And is immediately drawn to her. He appreciates her candor and her curiosity about his people. They both have similar desires--to see the end of the war.
Harbin's Craving, however, makes it difficult to focus on what she needs because of what he wants.
He wants her.
Plain and simple.
He cannot get her out of his mind, she is there constantly until the day of her return with the Ambassadors.
Then an explosion changes everything.
Bianca is jettisoned out into space in an escape pod, and Harbin has to protect her from the attacking ships. Everything is turned into chaos, and she has to hide on one of the Sol moons, an ice rock where the Rhimodians mine. The frigid temperatures leave them both physically close to one another all the time in order to keep her safe.
A true test for Harbin's Craving, for certain.
And when others show up attempting to attack and kill Bianca, Harbin must do everything in his programming to keep her safe.
Even if it means sacrificing himself.
There are monsters, then there are monsters. Which kind wants her dead?
Mythical Knights Book 2
There was a time Marissa van Dyke loved Halloween. Then tragedy struck. Now the sight of a jack-o-lantern only reminds her of what she’s lost. In fact, she’d prefer to just hibernate.
But recently her nightmares are becoming too intense to ignore. Dreams filled with horror-movie creatures that come closer to killing her every time. Where these vampires and werewolves are coming from, she doesn’t know. She only knows they’re relentless.
Neil Drigan has no interest in finding a mate. Bind himself to one woman? No thank you. Permanent is for the wolf pack Alpha–his brother. Yet lately he persistently dreams about running, in full wolf form, to save a beautiful woman who smells of flowers–and death.
At first the woman’s identity is a mystery, until he realizes the dreams are a residual imprint of something that really happened. Not only is the woman temptation wrapped in real flesh and blood, she’s still in danger. And the one thing he never thought he wanted.
This werewolf alpha wants her. She's not interested.
Mythical Knights Book 1
Losing a father is always hard, losing a father who’s a pillar of the community is harder. When he’s the alpha of your werewolf pack it is even harder.
Still, that’s exactly where David Drigan finds himself--lost and rudderless after the death of his father.
Nonetheless, the final transformation to turn David into the leader has yet to happen, leaving his family wondering if he will ever be strong enough to lead his pack.
Trying to step into his place in society, David meets Kelsey.
Blonde. Curvy. Attitude.
There’s just something about her that makes David’s beastly desires surface unlike ever before. The need to take her and protect her, if only from herself, overwhelms him.
Not that Kelsey would let him. She doesn’t need anyone to take care of her. Never has.
But this David guy? He's not her usual bad boy.
He’s, like, a suit.
Crazy.
Then things get crazier.
One night at her favorite decrepit amusement park, she learns there’s a lot more to David—and the world—than she ever expected.
Is Kelsey ready for this darker world where she would have to step up and truly stand by her alpha?
An unconventional Fairy Godmother, and an unconventional charge. What could go wrong? Oh, everything.
Guys and Godmothers Book 3
Avalynn Fay is not a typical Fairy Godmother. She wears leather body suits, rides motorcycles, and prefers bourbon to anything fru-fru. Probably why she is assigned new charge, Jason Gregorian—a PI who drinks bourbon and loves to cook barbecue.
Jason’s a good guy. Generally decent. Even willing to pretend to be his ex-girlfriend Tessa’s date for a wedding, so she won’t be alone while her ex struts around with his latest squeeze on his arm.
Should be easy, right?
All Ava has to do is talk to him, feel him out a bit, and she’ll know exactly how to get the wheels in gear. Except when she meets Jason, suddenly no one is good enough for him. Not even Tessa, his intended Happily Ever After.
It’s enough to make a fairy godmother want a healthy shot of bourbon—right before she breaks all the rules.
All it takes is a spark for this werewolf to be burned
Mythical Knights Book 3
Meeting Chase Drigan seems sweet enough--a fire fighter helping out a citizen when her tire's flat at the YMCA. Yet the draw to this man pique's Denise Matthew's interest.
Sort of.

◆Book 2 in the Galactic Storm Series◆
Lady in Waiting Freya will always support the Terran Imperial Princess Caoimhe. Including on her mission of peace.
Even if it seems fruitless.
The Rhimodians will not yield and the Terran Empire will not stop. When Freya is nearly killed en route to the negotiations, she winds up with on ally to get her to the peace talks.
The Rhimodian, Kian.
He must get the petite Terran to safety. A simple program. Master System insists. His people’s future depends on it.
He must be careful, though. The Craving is growing and with every moment he spends with her, it gets stronger.
If she keeps looking at him like that, she will break his protocols.
For good.
