These are simple chairs. They come two to a (large) box with backs off and stubs rising from the seat with threaded holes in them for attaching the back to the base. Two bolts and washers per side attach the backs, four all told, and these four bolts hold the back securely to the base.
Each box of chairs comes with a bag of hardware. Actually, we got two sets of these chairs and each of set contained an extra bag of bolts and washers. We had enough hardware in total to put six chairs together, and each bag also contained an allen wrench for securing the back to the base: six allen wrenches, twenty-four nuts and washers....
The chairs are comfortable. Everyone finds them so. Everyone also finds them short. Our regular dining room chairs are 17 inches high at the front center of their seat. These are 14 inches high at the front center. The seats are curved and rise to 16 inches at the side, but they also fall toward the back. In short, though these are comfortable seats, they're not as high as they could be and that will make eating from them at a normal height table somewhat uncomfortable, especially for shorter individuals.
The plastic is heavy and thick. I suspect it will show dings and scuffs because it is matte and not especially smooth.
Two chairs will stack nicely, but three don't stack well and four really don't stack at all--the back legs hit seats of lower chairs as you add more than two to the stack. This is a decided negative.
And the reason this is a negative is that I don't think I would place these chairs permanently at a dining room table. They're not bad quality, but they're not year-round family dining room comfortable or attractive. So it would be nice if they stacked neatly and could be pulled out of a closet when extra chairs are needed.
Padding and upholstery on the chairs is about .75 inch thick. It appears to be a fabric-fronted piece of foam glued to the plastic base and back of the chair. The cushion does make the chair more comfortable than bare plastic (the other pair we got was bare plastic), but it's still a bit hard on your shoulder blades when you lean back because the cushion does not cover the top of the seat back.
In the end, these aren't the most comfortable chairs, nor are they the most attractive, but they may provide a look and level of comfort you're willing to live with at a price you can afford. They're not bad chairs: they're solid and comfortable. But as dining room chairs I think these aren't what most people will want. They would do better as waiting room chairs.

These are sturdy plastic chairs of unusual dimension. Normal dining chairs for adults have seats from 18 to 20 inches, comfortable for people from about 5' 2" to 6' 2". The seats of these chairs are 14 inches in the center to 16 inches on the edges, about right for people between 4' and 5'.
You might think they are for children or short adults, but the seat is 23" wide at the front, compared to normal 18", although the 14" in back is normal. A person filling this seat would have at least a 60" waist, 50% larger than average.
These dimensions fit pretty closely the ones J. R. R. Tolkien gives for the dwarves of Middle Earth. There probably are real people with this shape, but I've never met one.
Other than the odd dimensions, the chairs are attractively shaped, and the plastic is sturdy and high quality. However the back is held on to the seat by four bolts that fit into recessed compartments that were obviously intended to have plastic caps to hide the bolt heads. Without the plastic caps, the chairs have an unfinished industrial look that clashes with the modern, clean, curved design.

Overall, I give these chairs four stars out of five. Here is my reasoning:
1) The material of the structure is a hard and high quality plastic, thick and sturdy and heavy, similar to the quality of wood more than plastic.
2) The fabric padding is nice, but for extended use you'll want to add additional padding. For a meal of 30 minutes of less it is fine.
3) Aesthetics are pretty nice, looks more futuristic that many chairs I've owned before.
4) A bit too low to the ground to be used for a dining table. This is better for the balcony or around a coffee table.
5) Almost $150 for a pair. Is that worth it to you? To me, not quite. But the quality is definitely there.
