"...characters are so real to the reader that you find yourself living through their disappointments and joys. The story was a joy to read and amusing from page one to the end." -FreshFiction.com
About the Author
Whether she's writing, reading, or just checking the items off of her daily to-do list, small-town girl Cheryl Harper loves her romance mixed with a little laughter. Randa Whitmore is the quintessential heiress that cannot please her parents. Tony Ortega is a swoon-worthy tough guy with a timid heart. The connection of these two characters shares that opposites are not exactly total opposites in everything. Their journey was cute, yet conceivably believable. The things you will be reading, if you choose to read this book, will have you realize that it is true.... what is on the cover is nothing compared to what is inside, if given the chance to see it. Social classes may clash, but it is the person beneath the exterior that changes perceptions.
I laughed, I felt a tear forming in my eyes, and I sighed. Trust me.... you will know what I mean when you read this. Certainly recommendable to a friend in my eyes.
I loved the slow building romance between Tony and Randa. Most of the books I've read lately read like the 'Wham, Bam, Thank You ma'am', right off the bat. Not so with this one, and to me that was very refreshing for a change. It was fun to watch these two growing closer by the day, but also trying to fight their attraction to one another.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone!
Did I say that Randa doesn't know much about Elvis, but she sure knows her shoes?
It's a really sweet book about a nice couple of youngsters and a quirky hotel. I loved it, and you will too, especially if you have a "thing" for shoes!
