Grail Wilder-known as The Dark Lord and a Sorcerer, sees Smoke and wants to talk to her. He's attracted and he's not quite the bad boy she expected. Unbeknownst to Smoke, she's more than a Vampire and Grail is more than a Sorcerer.
Then there is Smoke's best friend Sharon who is a born and powerful Vampire who saved Smoke's life by turning her. Grail's friend Shags is a Wolf Shifter. The four of them are on a mission to retrieve a Fae Hallow. Unfortunately, the evil and ancient Vampire Vidal is also after it.
This is an engrossing, and edge of your seat story. Has intrigue, action, suspense, magic, a few surprises and hot romance. Loved it and highly recommend it and can't wait for the next one!
She is very impatient and stubborn through and through.
Grail is supposed to be the Dark Lord although when it comes to Smoke he is pure light.
We have a battle ahead of us though. Can Smoke, Grail, Sharon, and Shags take care of things?
We get demons, vamps, fae, witches and more...

It wasn’t even an occasional mistake. The poorly misplaced words, broken sentences, and unfinished lines littered the story. I couldn’t persevere because lots of details were lost to this. I would reconsider re-reading this once this book has gone through thorough proofreading.
