CANTO 6409 is a concert by the Brazilian composer Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta and a movie by the Italian filmmaker Dino Viani, created as two independent works, to happen together, in 2009. The project was made in memory of the victims of the terrible earthquake happened in Abruzzo, Italy, in 2009. The world première of both concert and movie happened at the International Film Festival of Cannes, in France, also in 2009. The musical score were created inside virtual environments.
