Premium Outfitter Series coolers provide quality coolers with extreme ice retention and tough rotomolded construction. Designed with ease and quality in mind, our Outfitter Coolers line offer recessed features for easy packing, bear proof coolers (IGBC Bear Resistant #3769) for peace of mind while hunting or fishing on the riverbank, and high-end, quality construction. An expedition grade Outfitter Series Cooler is the last outdoor, rugged, extreme cooler you’ll ever need. Grab a basket or two for easy organization, slip a bottle opener into the tie-down point for convenience, lock it to your truck bed or boat for security, or snap a custom seat cushion on for late nights around the campfire. Designed with flush and recessed features, Outfitter Series durable coolers slid easily into small spaces without snagging on latches or handles. Sizes ranging from a personal 22 quarts to 125 quarts hunting cooler, we have a cooler for every adventure. With a quality, premium Outfitter Series cooler by Canyon Coolers, you can literally take the road less traveled.
With the thickest insulation of the entire Outfitter Series line, the Outfitter 35 is the toughest and most extreme cooler in its size (when compared to other rotomolded cooler brands). Ice retention can’t be beat and its stout walls mean it can take a tumble in stride.

Best practices for Ice retention
Be nice to your ice!
Always Pre cool your cooler with a bag of sacrificial ice the day before use.
Pack it up with pre-cooled or frozen food or drink items( warm products will use all your ice to get them cold).
Fill the entire cooler with ice around and above your food and beverages.(airspace can take energy out of your ice).
Opening your cooler or leaving it open will effect your ice. plan your trips to the cooler well for longer ice retention.
Block ice will last much longer than cube ice. a combination of both is the best way to get longer ice retention and still have room for products.
Buy ice from commecial supplier(ice from your frezzer or an ice machine is not hard frozen and will not last as long and is not as cold.

It's advantages are it's design, rectangle with smooth sides, lifetime warranty, and it's price relative to most other rotomolded coolers. I thought it the one to buy and am not disappointed.
Update: I took this cooler on a 9 day river trip in late September/ early October on the Green River, Utah.
I pre chilled the cooler with a bag of ice, used three 1 gallon water jugs, frozen, for the trip. All my entrees were frozen but I also had fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, carrots) and luncheon meats and cheeses. On day 9 (take out) There was still substantial ice in the cooler and items in there were as cold as from a refrigerator! A spectacular result and exceeding my expectations.
We just spent 3 days on the California Delta, boat camping and water skiing. Temps each day reached 103-105 degrees.
I precooled the Cayon in the house before leaving. We made sure to keep the Canyon in the shade during the day as well.
I put 3, 2 quart frozen water bottles, in with our food. We also had a 1/4 small bag of ice that was left over in on top as well. When we left after 3 days off camping in the heat our food was still very cold and each bottle had over 1/2 of the water still frozen in them.
I'm thrilled with my purchase and the Canyon Cooler Outfitter.
It far exceeded my expectations. I didn't want to spend the money Yeti wants for their product and decided on the Canyon after researching coolers.
I really like the design nothing sits outside the surface of the cooler to snag on, a real positive when loading our tournament ski boat. The interior walls are nearly straight offering additional storage space that other coolers don't have.
Incredible product. Be sure to precool the interior before using and keep it in the shade, recommended by Canyon to get the best performance.
