Customer reviews
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I remember reading this when I was a kid, thinking it was way cool, but rereading it this week confirmed that there could have been a better story and a better ending in it, then simply **spoiler** jumping on the plane, making some smoke, watching the helicopters crash (didn't they know which is left and right?... and of course, turning up with a smile to his own funeral... there is an incredible lack of detail, and I felt that the author could have done so much more...
Of course, it is still a good story, but not something to go nuts about. One of the few instances where the movie was better than the book.

I received the book today from Better World Books and have read it all the way through once and will want to read it many more times.
The author gives more depth to the characters than was available in the film-this is not meant as a criticism of the film-there is only so much that can be packed into a 2 hour movie.
The ‘fleshing out’ of the Caulfield and Kelloway characters gave much greater depth to the storyline and made for a most enjoyable read.
The book was a second hand copy but in very good condition and I recommend the seller, Better World Books, for their promptness of delivery and nice packaging.
Thank you.

The response from Customer Services was good and a replacement was sent 'immediately'. After chasing I did eventually receive an 'acceptable' copy. Overall OK, shame they don't do a basic check before despatch.
