Not Great for Me

I have very thick, curly hair, and the plastic open-ended headbands tend to give my an awful headache, so I really love these full circle style bands. I have one that I've been using for almost a decade and wanted to be sure I had a back-up for if/when it goes. Unfortunately, this item does not even compare.

The problem I have is that it doesn't stay closed. I'll adjust my suit jacket and SPROING! The place where it is supposed to close slips open and, if I don't catch it right away, makes a bit of a mess with my hair. Other than that, it works, but the fact that the part I need to work the most, doesn't? Is what leads to my low review.

I have a hard time wearing headbands because they tend to give me headaches. I bought this hoping to wear my hair in such a way to give me a new look. The plastic from the headband stretches so that I was able to wear it. I have a lot of thick curly hair. I wore it only a few days as it still pulls too much that I end up with a headache...but I do believe that when it is stretched out enough to conform to my head, it will work.

I'd give it more stars , but the plastic is not as strong as before , so I guess the economy is effecting the quality of these too . As for the use of the comb I love these as I use them after I put hair product in and spray with water to set it . Works great at keeping my hair out of the way when I'm putting on make-up . When I take it out my hair has more lift , and is set for the day !!!
