About the author

Kristin Helling enjoys stories with a journey- whether it’s a journey across the globe, a journey through space, or a journey of finding one's self.
She writes adult fiction thrillers. When she's not killing people (fictionally, of course!), she also has a passion for children's stories and writes them under the pen name Kristin Alis.
Kristin owns a coffee house, co-owns the publishing imprint Wordwraith Books, is married to a Photographer, and is Mama of two and their hairy sibling, a collie-shepherd mix.

Also, as with the other two books, Ms Helling needs to find a proofreader, even if it's just a close friend. There are missing words, wrong words, run-on sentences, and sentences that don't make sense. Most of these are so obvious it wouldn't require an English Professor to spot them. It would make such a difference. I expected much more but was highly disappointed. I received a copy from the author but this is my own opinion
Raine is a fantastic character, and the storyline in this one is as good as it was in the previous two. What I particularly like in these books is the way they delve into the darkness of the human mind and give us a better understanding of it.
A very interesting read, totally worthy of your time.
I volunteered to review these books through the author's newsletter.
