The is one of many books written by climate change deniers who just aren't qualified to assess the cause or reality of global warming. To evaluate these books, the article "Climate Change Denial Books and Conservative Think Tanks: Exploring the Connection" on the National Institute of Health website is worth reading. Here's the bottom line from that article: "The general lack of peer review for the denial books is a common feature of the vast body of literature produced by the climate change denial community, ranging from blogs to newspaper op-eds to policy briefs …. Not being subject to peer review allows authors or editors of denial books to make scientifically inaccurate and discredited claims that are often amplified in conservative media and the blogosphere, potentially reaching significant segments of the general public."
Unfortunately, the audience to which climate change denial is pitched has shown itself to be easily influenced by alt-facts. Climate change deniers seem particularly resistant to actual peer-reviewed science, having concluded that all the reputable climate scientists in the world are conspiring for some evil purpose that only the alt-right can understand. It would be funny if it weren’t so destructive.
