About the Author
ARLENE GOTSHALK, MA, SPHR I have over thirty years of experience in education, nonprofit management, and business administration. I have taught numerous courses in how students learn, including theories of cognition and motivation and their application in traditional classroom and in online learning. She is currently instructing Business and Professional Writing and Writing for the Web. Caregiving for my parents for the past 10 years, I began to deal with the inevitable problems that arose. I was terrified that I was going to lose my life in an abyss of caregiving details. I searched for resources that could help me. I found that most publications on caregiving contained a lot of information but not in a very accessible, intuitive or useful format. And none of them had accompanying software. They were the "Complete Book on Caregiving", etc. whereas I needed quick overviews and easy to use ways to manage the tasks at hand.
