Hi Deborah and all looking for a useful assessment towards changing careers,
Recently in three days I completed Deborah's interactive book on Career Transition. I had been through this process before with small scale results. Upon completion of the many categories this interactive book makes you look at, I was finally sure where I needed to take my business energy for a more fruitful business life for the people I work with and for me personally.
In my 30 some years of building business acumen I have been in the mode of making others look good by pushing their paperwork and doing the tasks they did not have time to do. Hhhhh, no more, I am now going back to do what most moves me...Working with students of life, to help make a difference in their lives that will in turn make the world a better place to live in!
There is no excuse for parents, teachers and mentors not to make better people. All the information is out there. Just finding the right avenue for your needs or weaknesses is available! My new avenue to help others is now firmly planted as my life mission by channeling my best energy towards a better future. It's out there, find it and go for it!
Helping People to Know & Grow

Even if you feel perfectly content in your current career, "Career Transition - Make the Shift: Your Five Steps to Successful Career Reinvention" will enlighten you by helping you produce a real-time status report on your overall career satisfaction levels.
I highly recommend "Career Transition - Make the Shift: Your Five Steps to Successful Career Reinvention" as a helpful resource that you'll want visit and revisit - especially in this era of high unemployment, economic uncertainty, and rapid technological change.
I just finished this book, and not only does she have an excellent, emotional, engaging story telling ability - but the stories she relates to the reader are authentic, passionate, and extremely relevant to the work she has you do.
If you read the book, and do the work, you're definitely going to be on the path of success. I speak from experience as well, because like Deborah, I did the scariest thing of my life in 1995, and stepped out completely on my own - starting my own business.
Deborah's journey very much paralleled my own life journey through those tough start-up times (being 'frozen with fear' but knowing I had to do something!)
Great work, Deborah!
