I purchased this jacket for $99.99 with a special 20% discount that was available around Veterans Day for a total price of $79.99, so I think that was a great deal, as I see it for $109.99 on Carhartt's site at the time of writing this.
My biggest issue with ordering this jacket was getting the sizing correct, so I'll cover that first.
According to the Carhartt website, if you are 5'11" to 6'3" in height, you should order the Tall sizes, which are 2" longer than regular sizes for the jacket length as well as the sleeve length, so I decided to order the Tall size, since I'm 6'2".
Also according to the Carhartt website, the XL size is 46"-48" chest and 40 1/2"-43" waist, so since that is my usual jacket measurement and I always wear XL in jackets and shirts, I went with the XL Tall size.
However, the XL Tall size that I received was actually nowhere near these measurements, as I measured it to be: 60" chest and waist, 32" length, 29" sleeve, and 24" shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
So the XL was actually more than 10 inches bigger in the chest than indicated on their website and it was huge on me.
I had to return it and then ordered the Large Tall size, and here are the measurements I received: 54" chest, 29" length, 28" sleeve, and 23" shoulder.
According to the Carhartt website, their Large should be 42"-44" chest, so the Large I received still measured 10 inches bigger than stated.Read more ›

Bought this for my dad. Large man. 5x. Hood is stiff. Coat is short. He is 6 foot.Published 14 days ago by Tamika
the outer material is extremely rigid (because of waterproofing) and the hood wont stay off my head. It kinda feels like vinyl. I didn't care for it but it was definitely warm!Published 1 month ago by Bryson B.
Very cool jacket. I can see myself owning this jacket for the next 20 years. Carhart quality like I've never seen before.Published 2 months ago by Ken
Great product. Alittle large but that's okay cause once I wash it a few times the arms usually shrink which is okay in the case cause my husband has long wrist so long sleeves... Read morePublished 4 months ago by Claire Mead
My husband loves this jacket. Finally replaced the one just like he has had for 20+ years as a daily wearer (its retired to a camping jacket now). Very durable & comfortable.Published 4 months ago by J. McCarty
