I'm 6'1" and bought the tall size for the longer sleeves, which make a big difference wearing it on the bike - no gap between sleeves and gloves. I wore it to do some gardening in the rain, and was so impressed I bought a flannel-quilted hooded version specifically for working around the outside of the house.
I washed the jacket twice in the home washing machine before I wore it, to remove any excess dye and tease out any loose threads that need burning off. The colour took on an interesting marble-like patina, which I think adds character. I have no idea if this is common - it don't happen with Carhartt's dungarees - or if I used too much laundry powder on a warm cycle, but I think it looks good, albeit unexpectedly.
The blanket lining is also practical, warm enough, but this is a jacket that is only going to keep you just so warm without enough layers underneath.
If this jacket ever wears out, I'll buy another just like it. That's about as good as I can say about anything.
Only gripe is that the cut of the body is pretty short. I'm not super tall (5'11) and while the sleeves are just right (I wear 35 inch shirts), the body often leaves a bit if my shirt exposed above my jeans. I'd try a tall, but the sleeves would be too long

As a 6'2" individual, the jacket is a little shorter than expected on torso, but the sleeves are good length for my long armsPublished 3 months ago by rrkeyser
Little bit on the cheap side quality wise. But will wear it and not worry about it getting trashed. The price range was alright.Published 3 months ago by Patrick Oconnor
