I don’t buy and wear Carhartt pants just because I imagine that they make me look good from behind. They are my favorite work pants. I love the durability of the densely woven 12-ounce 100% cotton duck fabric. One six year old pair of double front dungarees is getting a bit thin and threadbare on the thigh section of the double front, but other than that, they are still in great shape everywhere else and still very functional / wearable.
The pants are very well constructed with triple row stitched side and inseams, they’re riveted at the pocket corners and at tops of the double front.
Of all the Carhartt pants that I have, I like the flannel lined ones the most. We live in the Pacific Northwest and the flannel lining helps retain body heat in our cool weather. During the winter I wear leggings or long johns under my work pants, so I usually order one size up to provide that extra space for the long johns and to maintain the comfortable fit.
Besides being soft and comfortable against your skin, the flannel lining provides a second (or third) layer of fabric that I really appreciate when I’m weed-whacking. Getting hit by flying sticks and stones thrown about by a weed whacker really sting when you’re just wearing regular denim pants. I don’t come in all bruised after weed whacking while wearing these work pants.
Well constructed from quality materials and a flattering fit … What’s not to love?

If you are looking for hardy work pants, these are they, however be wary of too much heat near you legs-- the lining IS NOT FLAME PROOF. If you drop some slag on your leg the fleece lining will melt. Carhartt makes a flame proof lined pant.
durable, and a really great fit.
I ordered a pair of flannel lined work paints . 32" x 30"
I received what was labeled 32" x 30" , but, when I measured them
they were actually 32" x 32" and they felt even larger. unusual for carrhart.
I 've had Flannel lined paints in the past and they just don't cut it in the cold .
I haven't ruled out the quilted ones .
If they made a fleece lined work pants, ( not just in jeans) I'd get a dozen ...
Fleece lined are very warm , and even more comfortable.
I'm no longer inpressed especially at the price they're asking .
Out door trades .....
