The lighter weight of 4.5-ounce, 100% cotton ring-spun chambray makes the carhartt fort plaid long-sleeve shirt an exceptionally comfortable choice. Soft, too, it’s garment washed. Built with a button-down collar, it features two chest pockets with flaps and button closures for secure storage, two-button adjustable cuffs for a great fit, and a back yoke with centered box pleat to enhance ease of movement. The main seams are triple stitched for added strength.

Something has definately changed with Carhartt's manufacturing. The quality of this shirt was ok, but not great, and definately not to the standard that I have come to expect from Carhartt. And, the sizing is completely off and inconsistent with other purchases. The shirt was snug out of the package, and then shrunk significantly after 2 washings to the point that i could no longer wear it.
So upon deciding to return it, Amazon referred me back to their supplier/vendor "Workwear Savings". I have to say that their inital response was very good, but completely awful in the follow-through.
The return shipping was processed very quickly and I confirmed that the shirt would be replaced with the next larger size (XXL). 10 days later I was notified by Amazon the my refund had been processed. On calling back the seller to resolve and confirm that they had already committed to replace the item with the next larger size, I noticed that my call rang to yet another third-party order fullfillment/customer service center (The Sportsman Guide). After several minutes of trying to finding me in their system, I was told that they could not process a replacement and that I would have to place another order through Amazon, at a higher price plus a new ridiculous 30% shipping charge.
This is one of those instances I probably could have pushed back and escalated, but decided that I don't have the time and just gave up. Stay away from"Workwear Savings"
Sleeves were comfortable too, plenty of room from the shoulder to the cuff to move about freely.
It did shrink a little, but not enough to make it to small to wear anymore.
