But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a good story. I liked the book, it’s solid and well-developed.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and voluntarily provided an honest review.
The cruise was very authentically described, and I enjoyed Donna's investigation and realization about Mark. It certainly reminded me of fun times on a cruise, but minus the man overboard! It will be a fun novel for many to reminisce about their own experiences as Donna, et al, enjoy this chance to be away from the responsibilities of the Inn.
I liked the way the author put in a few surprises along the way, including some new characters that I imagine we will meet again in future books. This is perfect for a summer read or anytime you want to imagine you are in the warm Caribbean.
It is a well written mystery with likable characters and a plot that keeps you interested. The main character carries little self-doubt and none of the stupidity that other authors of this genre place on their main character.
It was refreshing and I didn't miss out not having read any previous books from this series. It was edited! I forgot which website I found this book.
