I have tried the following supplements:
Carlson Labs Vitamin A
Freeda Vitamin A
Ophthalmic Nutrition Vitamin A, DHA and Lutein
I have had good experiences with all 3 brands. I know some people get headaches with high dose Vitamin A but I have not had this problem.
Price wise, Ophthalmic Nutrition is the cheapest (if you calculate the price for buying Vitamin A, Lutein and DHA separately), followed by Carlson Labs and then Freeda.
I say if you want to just take Vitamin A, go with Carlson Labs. If you want to also take Lutein and DHA, go with Ophthalmic Nutrition.

Excellent product. My husband has retinitis pigmentosa and rhis is helpful to reduce progression of the disease. He has liver function tests to make sure the high dose is safe.Published 2 months ago by Cheryl K. Bockstahler
