I never thought i'd have good stripper moves either, but it's not hard at all. (Great for spicing up your love life too ;) I also swear that these videos toned some of my muscles that I've never even felt get a workout before... For example my wrists! Carmen Electra did a good job with this workout video and I would most likely recommend this for others.
I was taken back doing this video after her first video which was fun but provided little workout. This workout is incredible; no props or extra equipment needed just your body; All of the moves are incredibly effective in not just working major muscle groups but all the little ones you never knew you had until your hurting after. And I mean directly after. I take yoga and pilates, and let me tell you they have nothing on this; I used to think my pilates class was hard b/c I would hurt the next day and the day after(and not in a good way- we're talking bow legged walking..)
But I feel the burn right from the beginning, throughout the whole video, and days after; and as silly as it sounds, a good hurt; I guess b/c the trainer adds good stretches throughout/ and you have alot of warm up time, so I feel it in my muscles not my tendons.Which is great for me b/c I am very inflexible.
I really have to hand it to this trainer in so many ways I can't count; through the excercises and succession of the exercises it is very clear that he is a highly trained professional, and I'll tell you why: the exercises are very unique, they cover a whole range of styles, you get muscle toning, stretching, core, and aerobic workout in this; he is very motivating(and even though you are in your house: you get the idea that he'd be very comfortable to work with). Also coming from someone that sees a physical therapist for neck/ shoulder pain due to inflexibility and a gymnastic injury: he works on all the things my therapist works on with me: focusing on the same muscle groups for core and posture strength. So not only are you getting fit; you are gradually improving your musculoskeletal system in ways to counteract our daily lives of poor posture and slumping over desks, typing etc. This helps in pain management and prevention. And lastly even though I am only 26 and fairly fit, I have a hard time w/ workouts per my old injuries; strength training, etc. causes me to go into spasms; I have not gotten that same reaction from this workout; Which really tells me this guy knows what he is doing. As for Carmen she doesn't give any instruction;she makes comments here and there; She seems real sweet/cute but sort of clueless (if that's not too harsh); which is fine by me b/c it really feels like she's learning along with you.And she has a very positive/ comfortable/ she could be one of your girlfriends air about her.Both of them together make a great combination.
I highly recommend this video; It is the only workout video I have purchased thus far that has been able to hold my attention all the way through- and I still do it at least 3 times a week. It's really worth it if you hate the cheese you usually get from all the other(even newer) workout videos on the market.
Oh yeah, and it is the only one I have been able to convince my boyfriend to do with me; and he even breaks a sweat.
