1) watch a YouTube video that demonstrated how to feed the yarn into the device
2) attach the weight and let it dangle in order to create tension, helps to draw the yarn through the tube
Definitely worth the money and extremely easy to use. Just save the enclosed yarn for another project.
After watching a couple YouTube videos from other users, I thought I'd be able to crank along at a pretty speedy pace...but I find that I have to crank very slowly. Plus... (maybe it's just me) I'm having a hard time finding yarn that is really ideal for the machine. Others seem really satisfied with theirs. Perhaps mine just isn't manufactured as well?
It ended up in one of my craft drawers; wishing you better luck than I had!
