I stopped reading romance novels a long time ago because I tend plunge myself into the characters. I feel what they feel but this book goes further than that. I actually cried a couple times while reading. After finishing last night, I woke up feeling depressed because the book was over and the ending was unexpected. Thankfully, there are two more. (Again, I can’t wait to see what is next.)
Excellent character development- If you sympathize with characters in the books you read, you are in for a treat. Both characters felt like they could be friends that you want to hug and smack at the same time.
I finished this book in less than 8 hours. To say it is a page-turner would not be a lie.
L T Marshall did a wonderful job on developing the characters as you read this book. I would recommend this book to everyone who love a great romance.
Being part of a Trilogy I didn’t know how LT Marshall would make a love story want to make you reaching for Book two, but she did a phenomenal job! Now all you want to do is reach for the second one in the series, to see if what you want to happen, will actually happen.
The dynamics of the relationships are definitely intense and left me wondering about Emma’s state of mind and why she is the way she is.
For those who love Romance that deals with real issues, then these are definitely the books for you. There is love and lust and heartache and pain. There are friendships and relationships that can give you a check of your own reality.
