My baby is carrier phobic, but this one seems the best so far from what we’ve tried which includes the ergo. I am overweight but not considered plus- I’m about a size 10. This carrier did not seem comfortable on my hip, rather hiked up to just under my ribs. The seat is okay and doesn’t bend, but isn’t the sturdiest seat in the world either. It could curve up a little more. It could also be a touch narrower and have a little more cushion.
The carrier comes with two flimsy-ish straps to secure the baby. These could be wider to cover more of the baby’s back.
I probably wouldn’t have my baby in this all day - however, it’s a great help for dancing sessions and extended burping without damaging your back. Do with that what you will.
