This is a Greek fisherman cap made in USA. They have a one piece top and fit most sizes.

Basically, a replica Civil War Kepi has more value in being stylish than for blocking out sunlight from the eyes, and Henschel has it down in its description that the Kepi was best used for checking if the enemy was within range. The visor on the Carroll version is wider and looks better. If searching for a non-bulgy hat that provides a low-profile, then this could be the style to select. I personally prefer this Carroll version to its competition from Henschel. Why? Simply because the sizing of the Henschel is off a bit, and the medium size I ordered sits high on my noggin and can't be pulled down tight, whereas this Carroll design can be adjusted wider and then pulled down for a better low-pro appearance. But that's mostly just a matter of personal preference.
Also, Carroll uses thicker leather and with the buckle adjuster all the way to the end of the strap, the hat provides an excellent fit on my rather smallish 57cm head. There is enough adjustment for the Carroll to cinch down for kids to wear. A little advice to those requiring a hat size larger than 58cm (7.25), you may find that the Henschel will provide a more suitable fit. Basically both hats are the equivalent, with better quality being in favor of the Henschel, who provides their hats in larger sizes, but of course they cost much more.
I wear a 7 3/8 hat size and the adjustment is full out and tight to my head. Good enough for riding.
Brim not centered to hat, for the price I paid, I'm making do.
The crossed rifles are cheap tin. I just took them off.
