I just fell in Love with Carter. He's the perfect man in all women want. And just as much as I loved his character, I equally loathed Gabriel Garcias' character. He was thoroughly disgusting. The kind of controlling predator that ached to be gotten rid of. I just loved how Carter handled him. I also loved the depth of comradery, trust and affection each fighter of Williamsport F. D. Rescue Four has for each other. Their banter with each other was quite entertaining.
Tiffany wrote very attention keeping book about a young woman, torn between doing right by her son and the man she was falling hard for and keeping her controlling selfish evil ex at bay. Tiffany did it again in this book. I can see there is a good story coming up with Emmanuel Allende. I hope I'm right as I know it will be good!
The nipple rings were a bit of a surprise but it definitely fit the whole persona of Carter Townsend, former Ranger. Diego was adorable and the way Carter loved on him was sweet. The boy’s father was a real jerk and I’m glad Carter took care of him and his mess. I know Ms. Patterson has got to do a story on Aaron because I want to know what the meaning of him having “fairies around him” based on Diego’s comments and the story about the family dog.
Carter’s character was very complex and I love how Ms. Patterson takes the time to give us the back story on her characters. It makes them more real and easy to relate to; it helps me become more invested in these characters and their story. My favorite character is Andre Collins in Black Butterfly (Black Burlesque Series) because he was no joke and wasn’t one to play but Carter is a very, very close second. Those of you who haven’t read that series, you should; it won’t disappoint.
The intrigue of who is after the men of Rescue Four is a very nice twist to this series and I can’t wait to read more about them. Also, please keep us up-to-date on Eric and Carter’s lives in the other books. You have a wonderful gift as a story teller; if you keep writing them, I’ll keep reading them.
No belle found herself in precarious situation with her child's father. She was scared of losing her child through threats from Diego's father. It seems Michelle didn't learn anything from her youth when she got involved with Gabrielle. She should have, known better to let this man threaten her.
I was saddened by what happen to Corey in the Fire they were trying to see if anyone was in the burning house. He didn't take his injuries well and locked out his firemen family. That was the time when he needed all the help he could get.
Finally after all the madness that was going on between Carter and Michelle they finally got it right so what will be next little Carter Jr. Can't wait for the next book to see who's next. Great story pick up this book and read to see what happened.
